MassArt has many computer labs available to students. There are limited-access labs for specific majors as well as labs accessible to all students. For doing research and papers, there are computer labs in the Library on the 12th floor of Tower. Those computers are old and slow, and don't have any graphic software, so they are only good for writing and browsing the Internet. On the 3rd floor of Tower, there are printers and computer labs with all the necessary graphic software, such as Photoshop. Those labs also have scanners that scan tabloid size images.

For Studio Foundation students, printing at the cage or the Studio Foundation lab is free, but most students end up using the 3rd floor labs anyway because they have better printers. Each students gets 25 dollars in their printing account included in their tuition. Students can print from any computer using Paper Cut. To access their printing money, students need to log in with their MassArt net login and password. Unfortunately, all labs close at 10 p.m. on weekdays and 8 p.m. on weekends. There are no 24 hours labs on campus. For those who want to buy software, MassArt provides student discounts; however, most of it is only for Macs.
