I absolutely love Massart. I can go to the common area of any floor in my dorm and am welcome to hang out, even if I don't know anyone there. I met two of my best friends while using the elevators.

MassArt has very diverse students. Most people here are very artistic types that "normal" people might consider strange. Its very easy to tell that they go to art school simply based on the way they look. A lot of people have body piercings, and everyone tries to wear something that highlights their unique personality. In most cases, students are very focused on the arts and it's hard to talk to them on other topics like history, literature, science or math. In fact, most students hate math and science.

Parties are very common here. Most students drink and smoke, and a good amount of students do drugs too. However, people here are very friendly and easy to talk to. Since dorms are coed, meeting both guys and girls should not be a problem. Dorms are one of the most popular places to meet new people. Students can get free condoms in the Student Development Office in the 2nd floor of Kennedy. Even though there are significantly more girls then guys here, Wentworth is full of guys and right next door, so everyone can find a person their type.
