MassArt has a small parking lot behind Artist's Residence. Parking is available for graduate students and nonresident sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Because MassArt is located in Boston and is a small school, resident students can't have a car. You can get an application in the Public Safety building. The permit grants parking for a semester and costs $200, and there are weekend passes available for $15, but most students choose not to drive anyway, because it is much faster and easier to take the T. Since parking is limited, permits are granted through a lottery system.

For guests, there is a small parking lot on Evans Way, behind Tower building. There is also street parking and many public parking lots around the area, such as Longwood Galleria, Boston Children's Hospital, and many others. During move-in or move-out days school parking is open for students all day without prior notice.
