In my experiences with online classes i learned that you have to be very responsible and keep up with the assignments and make sure that they are posted before the deadline, as well as the tests. online classes are very different from a traditional classroom because you dont have to attend a classroom meeting with a teacher and other students every week. this allows you to do your classroom work when you have the most concenient time, especially if you have a job and a family to attend to. a classroom allows you to interact with other students an dyour teacher unlike with an online class, but depending on the person it could be to their advantage or disadvantage.

Continuing Education/ Career Center – There is no "career center" at this college that I am aware of, but the employees at the Continuing Education office as well as the instructors are very resourceful in putting students in contact with potential employers and website to perform job searches. There are many former students of the programs that usually come back to help proctor the new students

Great Instructors – I took my EMTB class at MCTC and the instructors were great! I am taking my EMTP class there now and the new instructor is great! Very insightful.

No Problems – There are multiple computer labs available in just about every building on campus!

Not Turning Out So Convenient – I have found out that my credits are not as transferable as I was lead to believe! I picked my schedule so that area was fine, but my whole purpose was to get cheaper tuition for core classes then transfer to a university... not possible as is! However this is a good starting point just for a refresher and getting oriented to college routines if nothing else. I have been out of school for many years, starting of at a slower pace was probably best

Mixed Emotions About This Question – Registration was as easy as circling what I wanted from a packet and handed a schedule a minute later. However the available courses were so few for me that I have to take online classes from another campus to meet my load requirements.

Limited Pressure Atmosphere – I attend a branch campus and like it's home site; it is smaller classroom settings and somewhat of a slower pace compared to universities. However my branch campus is just a small fraction in size of it's home site. There is lots of one-on-one with students, instructors, and administration. We are a very small community and closely intertwined. But the small size of my campus leaves us very limited in all areas. We have such a small selection of courses, limited people to advise and assist, no real place for students to gather or break, and an extremely outdated and under capacity library.
