I am a Medical Assisting Major, and actually just started last week! I already am falling into step with everything that is going on! I am enjoying my major!
College Junior 2013-10-16T19:12:28Z
My school is mostly adults who are already in the work field, but want to step up in there career or are looking for a career change! They have families and they still find time for people at school! I personally feel very welcome and comfortable!

All medtech is the LRC . There could be more offered.

Medtech is a good school, it need's work as it works out the new mod program.

say they will help you dont really have better luck on your own
College Senior 2013-09-09T01:58:18Z
not flexible classes not schedule with enough notice classmates feel the same way

Getting in for classes is great and the only problem would be not being able to transfer credits to a university if willing to further education in that chosen field.
College Senior 2013-08-26T00:44:32Z
I am excited to graduate from MedTech because they help students get jobs. MedTech posts upcoming job fairs relating to the degree the student is working for also there is a director helping students towards getting a career in the field they are going to school for!

The teachers are amazing! It helps that we all have the same goal and that was to be a the best possible nurse!

There is only about 20 computers for all the students to use. no place, besides empty classrooms if your lucky, to study.

I love most of my teachers, I think they do they're best to relate all subjects to what we will need to know as nurses. The registration process was fairly easy. The workload is demanding, but manageable.
College Senior 2013-04-27T16:15:51Z
Im in the registered nursing program. Everything up to date is going fine. All classes are related to the program, with a few prerec classes built into the program. Most of the teachers are excellent educators, with a few exceptions. The workload can be difficult with all four classes having tests at the same time, but I am getting a 3.83 GPA. You just have to make time

Tuition & Financial Aid:
i understand you have to pay for class, it is a bit pricey seeing how the credits do not transfer so i can get a higher degree
College Junior 2013-04-04T20:14:24Z
it would be hard for me as a single mother o work and go to school full-time
College Senior 2013-03-17T13:17:02Z
I like the involvement the professors show towards the students at Medtech. This is one of the reasons I chose this school.
College Senior 2013-03-17T13:09:22Z
Students at my school would like to stay above this grade because a C is passing and a D is not.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition does not seem to be to bad, especially since graduating in 15 months. However, financial aid, when I was trying to find a bank to get a student loan for medtech I was having a lot of issues, and still am.The financial aide person did not give me any information as to where to go and find infromation on how to get other grants or scholarships to pay for the extra things like gas,to go back and forth, internet, computer, school supplies, the essintials and how to be able to pay for your living expences while trying to complete school at the same time.

So far the people that I have been able to talk to,are full time students and parents,as well as other things. They seem to be able to handle a lot, and are all very friendly. It is a lot different from high school, the people there are actually really nice.
College Senior 2013-03-14T22:49:18Z
I have not taken any online classes and not aware that they offer online classes.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
MedTech is an accelerated school. It's very expensive compared to the other schools. I am eligible for the maximum in financial aid, and with $10,000 in loans per year, I still owed almost $5,000. I'm working full-time, as well as going to school full-time, and making payments to the school as I'm going. A hard task, but I'm happy that the R.N. program is only 21 monh

The resource center is small, but always has open computers. It is a fairly new school and they don't have a lot of other resources or activities.
College Senior 2013-03-12T11:27:10Z
MedTech is very flexible and they do they're best to accommodate each person. I haven't transferred any credits, so I don't know the complexity of that process.
College Senior 2013-03-12T11:16:55Z
There are always computers open for use. The reliability, wireless access, and speed at MedTech are great. I have yet to experience a problem with the computers. If class is not in session in one of the labs, you can use these for a little more privacy.
College Senior 2013-01-22T01:50:26Z
Its alot of work but its an acelerated program so it needs to be.
