The quality of education is good. The professors are very helpful and they get back to you in time. The education and the fiances for attending are really great. But I feel that the faculty don't really want to help the students.

Mercer County Community College resources are great and accessible at both colleges. Kerney Campus has a large computer room and there never a wait. West Windsor College is a bigger campus but a much smaller computer room and you will need a personal computer if you only go to that one campus and many student do. West Winsor Campus is great college it has a nice size current Library. West Winsor Campus is the spot to go when you need help there always people there to help you succeed.

I had a online math class at Mercer County Community Class. Not only was the class online the were real teacher to assist you. The online part of the class was more helpful than the traditional class setting for me.

My school consists of working class people. People that are working full-time jobs and have families. They are not as socially free as a traditional college student because of there obligations and goals of creating a better future for ones own.

I'm a Nursing major and I will be taking class like pharmacology and and development. All the classes that I'm taking are needed for my major, which I nice because these subjects always captured my interest. Nursing can be tough but it's very rewarding.

There are many different resources, from a great library to online research aids. Also, the tools are very nice.

It is good but not the best. Some of the fees seem very contrived.

This grade is because there are many times for the major classes such as math and english. The more niche classes, however, are sometimes only given at strange times such as 5-9 on monday nights.

I did not enjoy Mercer at all. The teachers do not have the enthusiasm that is needed to teach a diverse group of students
College Sophomore 2013-05-01T04:33:48Z
I would like to see more professors that actually like to teach. Most teachers are satisfied with students failing out of their class. That should not be acceptable at all. If a student fails so does the teacher.

Our networks don't always work, but more often than not are. I mostly use my personal laptop because it's so much easier than using the desktop computers in the lab. Printing comes with a fee which can't be paid directly with coins, but rather with a print card that has to be refilled like a credit card.

I enjoy the overall campus, however the library and cafeteria get overcrowded during the lunch hour and very noisy. Wifi can only be accessed in certain spots on campus as well, which makes it a little difficult to find a quiet hideaway to focus on coursework during breaks.

most people at mercer are chill students just going through their day trying to get schooling for their future jobs. although there are a several people that are weird and make you think negatively of the school. there are exceptions.
College Senior 2013-04-16T22:40:17Z
The school can be good with flexibility especially some professors. Although you have to be careful what field you get into as the time of classes are different throughout. For the most part classes are reasonably timed and you have several options to chose from.

I am a biology major and I love it. The classes can be challenging but the professors are great. They are very personable, helpful and knowledgeable.

I love the fact that there is a gym that full-time students get free access to. Being someone who loves to work out, exercise, and stay fit, having a free gym to go to helps tremendously. Swimming is also a big part of my workout and it helps that the college has a pool.

I encountered many professors who were very passionate in their subject and took a lot of time to make sure that the students understood the material before a big midterm or final. However, I met a lot of teachers who didn't teach all of the material effectively, had a sour attitude in class, and most importantly rejected a request to answer a few questions from students. The curriculum is sometimes a bit hard to follow as well because professors usually fall under their designed syllabus. The workload isn't too bad unless you have a lot of outside of college activities to attend to.

The school is very diverse which is a very good thing. However, there are a lot of individuals that seem apathetic about their education which sometimes gives a bad atmosphere. There are a lot of very interesting people in the school because it is so diverse which is one of the things that I love.

I am currently a Liberal Arts major because I wanted to take a lot of general ed classes so that I could decide to focus on my core classes once I transfer. My grades are at an A because I worked hard and always contacted and visited my professors for additional help in subject material that I was either confused or needed more enlightenment in. I intend to maintain this grade through conscientiously working hard as well as seeking help from others.

Most of the students at Mercer County are working full time or already have families. However the typical student you would see during the day differs from the typical student you would see at night. There are usually young, part time students attending class during the day. However at night you have adults for the most part, who are hard working students with families to support.

I believe Mercer Country Community College is a good community college, however it's not great. I feel that the students I take classes with do not take college seriously and disrupt most of my classes. Not all but some teachers take community college students for a joke and think they don't have to teach because no one cares when it's the complete opposite. However there are a few great teachers I have had through out my past 4 semesters at the college. Overall for a community college it is alright.

Nothing about the learning environment is stressful. You mainly know everything you're going to be expected of in your classes.

The computers are very good. They run well, however there is not always enough available.

There's nothing really unique it's just like any other school.
