Computer labs were mostly taken by professors and their students. But students were allowed to use the labs when classes were done. Printing on campus was easy and there were plenty of printers available in the library. The network was reliable and easy to use. If students wanted to use their personal computers, they were allowed to do so, but they just had to log on to the wireless router anywhere in the school. There was no need to have a personal printer because there were plenty of printers located throughout the school.

Workload is manageable in online courses, there are certain courses such as Religions of the World that involved a lot of reading. But I still find taking online classes at Mercy College convenient because you can do the work during your own time and the assignments are challenging but rewarding because you are required to research NEW information according to the topic. Registration process is easy and can be done either online or on campus. Professors respond to student emails and postings during the week. Weekly discussion topics requires replies to at least two other students original postings to make the discussion boards interesting for the week.

The catholic religion is tremendously important to the college, however they do not push the beliefs on to people of different religions. They respect the diverse students and also offer diversity and religious classes.

Friendly and helpful students, but each program sticks to communicating with their classmates.

My advisor is also the lab teacher, applied teacher, program chair, and not helpful at all....Or a good teacher......

Some of the teachers of the online classes don't always respond to emails right away or keep caught up with the grading. These are the only things I really don't like about Mercy College's online courses. But I don't think it has much to do with the college itself. It's more about those specific teachers.

5 years masters program, work- study available throughout the entire year. The professors are very helpful, and take their time explaining the topic they are covering. The students are very friendly. Not to mention the most outstanding athletic department.

For Starters the school is right in the middle of Manhattan which gives every student a very unique college experience. They have many great opportunities to offer. The professors and students are very social and enjoy helping one another.

the professors are extremely friendly and take their time to help the students understand the material being taught very clearly.

The library is beyond amazing. And the computer labs are great along with the speed of the internet.

The campus is right in the middle of Manhattan which gives you a very strong feeling of excitement. Not only that but the students on campus are very friendly and are not afraid to interact with one another. The science labs are not well maintained nor professional. However the library is amazing, I complete most of my work there and spend the majority of my time there.

Seems like a lot of involvement from the student body, but there are also a lot of non-traditional students. The hours for some of these meetings don't also match up and the causes some students not to become involved.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
My school posts announcements about any applicable grants and/or scholarships available to nursing students. My school is a private school so the tuition varies from public schools.

I love how my online class is broken down into weekly "chunks." I receive weekly email reminders to complete my assignment and also receive weekly updates from my professor. One week, when he received lots of feedback that our workload was a bit heavy for that week, he stretched it out between the next week, too. The online format truly puts me in charge of my education. I have to schedule time to complete it and hold myself accountable to it.

We have great resources, however they are limited due to the library hours. No hours in the evenings or on the weekends. This doesn't help non-traditional students.

Good library and computer lab, but the hours are very limited. Unhealthy snack choices in vending machines.

The professors are very involved with their students and the class sizes are small. You have a more one on one approach to learning.

The certificate program that I am in counts toward my bachlor degree that I am working on at the same college. This is really nice so I do not have to add another year on to my current program.

Incredibly Helpful – While Mercy College is small, there is no shortage of resources. The library is unbelievable! There is a gym membership as well.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Push Yourself to Achieve the Best You Possibly Can. The education provided at Mercy College is incredibly beneficial. The course are substantially difficult, but the time, energy, and stress is well worth it. The value of education is highly inspirational. All the professors desire to see you succeed. But you have to put in the work to succeed.
