Merrimack is not very strict. There is always a way around a rule

The police aren't going to breathing down your neck here at Merrimack. Campus police are always making rounds in the cruisers so they do have their eyes open but they don't bother you and a lot of them are cool guys. All Freshman dorms are dry but that doesn't really stop anyone. You can pretty much do your own thing as long as you're not being obnoxious or carrying a bud latte down the sidewalk. And if you do get in trouble for partying there is a lot of grace.

Merrimack gives their students freedom. The police step in only when parties get out of hand. They allow parties and drinking, which make weekends fun, enjoyable, and safer because students don't have to leave campus to party and risk drinking and driving. Police services is not out to get students either. Alcohol is not allowed in underclassman dorms but they don't heavily enforce those rules.

The school gives the students their freedom. however like at any other school if you are breaking a law, disrupting the campus, any illegal activity or against the schools rules then the police force and administration will take serious action. Keeps the campus safe.

The drinking policy is very strict. Police do not have a problem stopping anyone, if they feel the need. No bottles are aloud to be in hand on weekends. If you are caught with alcohol, you need to see the dean and take an alcohol class & a letter is sent home, with 2 strikes taken out of 8 (8 means you are kicked out.) Second time offenders are not allowed on campus during weekends for a month. And so on. Stealing is not allowed, depending on the conditions, a person could be kicked out of the college.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
