Easy and on Topic
The Professors: They're all fun, friendly and really good at helping you out. Yet they really know what they're talking about, because to work for AI Jacksonville (branch of MIUA&D I attend) you have to have experience in the field you're teaching.
Curriculum: The curriculum is exactly what you need, and they make sure you take classes in a specific order to where you have the knowledge to understand the more intense classes. Senior year you're required to take an internship, and I'm honestly really excited about that.
Class Registration: They give students the option of suggesting classes to have for every quarter, so that's really cool. I've heard some majors have to do it online, but I've never had that problem. They give you the option of morning, afternoon, and night classes, and offer about 4 classes for each section for that day. They're open Mon-Fri, so that would add up to.... about 60 classes to choose from. I think that's pretty boss.
Workload: Okay, that's the tough part. There's A LOT of homework, but that would be expected at any art school. You have to make sure you keep your academic and design classes separated from your project classes; meaning more of the academic and design classes, and one or two project classes per quarter. The reason why is that project classes literally give you 8 hours or more of homework every week, but it's worth it for your portfolio in the end.
Special Study Options/ Programs: I really don't know much about that subject. I'm sure they would offer it, but I'm just not familiar with it. For the programs we have a club for every major, and we also have Career Services to help you get a job while you're in school, or near graduation.
