College Prowler Take
College food is notorious for being vile and disgusting. However, at Miami, students actually enjoy a variety of tasty options either at à la carte locations, buffet-style cafeterias, and sprawling marketplaces. While the menu can become repetitious, it is agreed among students that Miami has fairly good food compared to most other colleges. Hamilton Dining Hall is the best option for students who require vegetarian, vegan, or Kosher diets. Bell Tower, centrally located among the academic buildings, is a favorite for many students, but beware that between the hours of 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., this location is very crowded. Seating, and sometimes silverware, is not always a guarantee. As long as you go to different dining locations and avoid sticking to one familiar setting, you should be able to keep your meals interesting. Don’t be afraid to try new foods. No matter how much you love those spicy chicken sandwiches and salads your first year, they will definitely start to get old after a while.

The dining halls are terrific!...
The dining halls are terrific! There is a lot of variety in the dining halls and the food they offer. The best in my opinion is probably Hot/Cold Scott, but Shriver is always yummy and Alexander caters to more selective diets. Harris has some fancier on-campus dining options for people who just want to try that out as well.

The food is pretty good. I've never had anything I didn't really like. Erikson and Belltower are the best just because they have more options. Uptown Tonic has great sushi, 45 East has good food, and there are lots of quick places for subs, etc.

I love the pasta---yummmm! The food is one of the reasons I chose to go to Miami. I love the convenience and the taste. The lines can get kind of long during peak eating times, but you learn to manage.

Miami Has a Wide Variety of Food for Everyone.
A+
The most popular meal plan at Miami is a plan call Diplomat. It acts like a debit card and you can use it anywhere on campus. There are on campus restaurants available to use on the student's card as well as many dining halls with all different types of food.

Did You Know? Most students who have a basic meal plan purchase an additional snack account and use it to purchase food and drinks between meals. Its balance can
be checked online at: www.hdg.muohio.edu/myaccount.
Most students also purchase a laundry account to avoid having to look for spare change on those dreaded laundry days. The laundry account balances can be checked online as well.
