Greek life is huge at Miami University. A couple of mishaps with formals recently resulted in the termination of multiple Greek houses, but Greek life still dominates campus. Of course, there are some unaffiliated students (who are not on varsity teams) who still enjoy their time here very much without joining a Greek organization. However, rushing a house makes a big difference. It can make the University seem much smaller and gives you more social opportunities.
If you do decide to rush, it is guaranteed you will be able to find a house you fit in with—there are more than 30 fraternities and 20 sororities at the school, each of which has different personalities and values.

College Prowler guides are in the hands of students throughout the entire process. Because you can't make student-written guides without the students, we have students at each campus who write, edit, and survey their peers for every guide that we publish.
