Greek Life Is Everything

If you aren't in a greek organization, you are probably low on the social tier. This isn't always true, but greeks definitely run the campus.

Good Parties, Good People

Greek life DOMINATES here. Even though I'm a girl and not in a sorority, I'm on a sport team and even the sports teams function like frats. Sororities in general are not that great and I would not recommend them to girls. Frats here are amazing and overall throw great parties. Some frats are sketchier than others so beware ahah. Greek life is a huge part of Miami and as a girl it doesn't really matter as long as you're involved in something, however, boys should strongly consider them.

Present but not over bearing

I'm not in a sorority but a lot of my friends are. It feels like almost everyone is involved with Greek Life here but you'd be surprised as to how many people aren't. Greek Life is fun if you love being outgoing/busy/drinking a lot but there are other clubs/teams if you want to get involved in something on campus.
