- Do not wait until the end of the school year to begin researching job and internship options. Stay ahead of the game and begin planning your search strategy in the fall. Students often procrastinate with their search and end up feeling a lot of stress while they attempt to juggle both studying for finals with finding employment. Also, take advantage of the services that the Career Planning and Placement Office (CPPO) has to offer. There is an extensive resource library for students of all majors. Career counseling appointments are always available, and the office also provides a mock interview service to help you fine-tune your skills before heading off to your first big interview.
