The cafeteria quality has decreased and the prices has increased. A fitness center and gym are available but people don't typically use it. The school is clean and has a friendly atmosphere. They offer an accessible library and quiet room for studying in groups and many group organizations for all student needs.

They continually do upgrades and inform all students of upcoming outages. The technical support people work to resolve any issues as quickly as possible.

I have more time to study because the driving time to and from classes takes a lot of time for me. I am able to take breaks whenever I need them. Online classes have additional work but I enjoy this learning method. I like this method because I can set my own schedule and work ahead.

I personally do not like online classes I find that I am more successful in a class room setting.

I am starting my core nursing classes this fall. I am have not experienced the difficulties that most nursing students have explained to me.

Since Classroom sizes are not very large the teachers are able to assist students very easily. I have always enjoyed not only my classes but the teachers as well.

I take online classes mostly, so I haven't met many of my classmates, however the academic discussions I have had online have been very productive. Also in my face to face class the student body was very helpful and supportive, always willing to discuss something or help out. I would say alot of the students are returning/non-traditional students, so we have alot in common with juggling work/school.

The school has boards availible to share rides, books, post job openings, social events, etc, which is very cool I think. I believe they also have a very comprehensive online program. This last semester they encouraged all students to sign a "commit to complete" pledge, and at the end of the semester two students finishing with an acceptable grade were drawn for gift cards. Very cool and the atmosphere is great!

There are always computers availible at the library and printing is free. Staff is always there to help with technical questions and assist in using computer equipment. Wifi is strong too.

This isn't a live-on campus so there aren't many amenities but the library is great and the Academic Sucess Center is wonderful. It would be nice to have more food options than the vending machines. The school is very clean and easy to navigate too.

I give MSTC an A for customer service, good teachers, ease of application and acceptance, and the quality of education I feel I am receiving. I have had no problems with my school so far. Most of my classes have been online and I feel the teachers have done an outstanding job facilitating my learning.

I am a nursing major. Our classes range from what kind of grade we have to have in the class, it depends how far we are in the program. I always like to be above what we are supposed to have, so I know that I am safe in the class and don't have to repeat it.
College Sophomore 2013-05-15T03:23:34Z
My professors are very involved with the students and are willing to help us out if we have questions or problems. They provide valid advice on what we should do, and also provide answers on what other classes we should take in our program along with what we can do better.

My education is worth the money I invest. My financial aid officer is very helpful in helping with my financial needs so I can finish my schooling.

I see a lot of different age groups where I go to. Many people that I have classes are all different race and ages. Some have many things going on in their lives while trying to squeeze school in. No matter what their situation is, they are trying hard to succeed.

I think that the education offered at MSTC is worth every penny. I know that the education I am receiving is seen to exceed standards and will help me when I graduate in finding a job.

Facilities Are Nice – The facilities on campus are pretty nice. We have a gym, a student center called the ASC or academic support center where you can go to get help if you are struggling in a class, library, study labs/rooms, computer labs, cafeteria, and vending machines are available as well so you don't have to leave campus to grab lunch or supper, etc.

Everyone Is Equal – My school mostly consists of people with part-time jobs and/or families. We have an especially high percentage of displaced workers due to the economy. Most range from ages 40-60. Most students are not just students. Meaning, they play many roles including, student, parent, worker, etc. Everyone is very friendly, but most everyones main goal is to get their education so they can move on in life with their new career and be successful, so making friends is not a top priority for most.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
