“I've learned one thing, and that's to quit worrying about stupid things. You have four years to be irresponsible here, relax. Work is for people with jobs. Classes are good , you'll remember the time you wasted hanging out with your friends. So stay out late. Go out with your friends on a Tuesday when you have a paper due on Wednesday. Spend money you don't have. Drink 'til sunrise. The work never ends, but college does

The wireless access and reliability of wireless access are almost non existent. There are however many computer labs and printers. I would recommend a personal computer and printer because individual dorm rooms have wall jacks to plug an Ethernet cord into which works well.

The grade I am giving is for my major. The instructors here give you the information that will be required in training, giving me a heads up on what to expect. The school also provides recommendations that help to get a job.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The value of the education here is worth the cost of tuition. Most classes are small and allow instructors to work with students easier. The school offers plenty of financial aid scholarships that just take one application to apply for.

I prefer the traditional classroom experience over taking online courses. MGC offers a variety in both, and I always hear how other students do very well with their online courses. I am not a big fan of them but the one online class I had to take was very instructive, easy to follow, and I did very well in the class. The workload was not overbearing, and the professor was very responsive to any emails I sent her.

Middle Georgia College hosts a variety of classes and a diverse faculty to make the experience unforgettable. The personality of the professors are well known to all the students. Each class will usually have at least two professors, and you can easily figure out which class will be more beneficial. Professors are also helpful during registration if you are having trouble with choosing classes. If you have your classes already planned, registration is a breeze. If you start to have trouble with classes, the professors are always ready to help and the school has a tutoring program for all students.

The reason I decided to attend Middle Georgia College was because the nursing program had a reputation of being tough. I wanted a school that would be challenging. All the classes I had took at other colleges were easily transferred to MGC. When I registered for classes, I had the option of coming to school four days a week or two days a week. The variety of classes that were offered made this possible. I was able to take all of my first semester classes on the same two days. This was a relief for myself, because I was a commuter.

It was an honor to be admitted into the nursing program at Middle Georgia College. The nursing program is very competitive, and I was excited to learn that I had been admitted on my first attempt. Being accepted was the tip of the iceberg in many respects. According to the faculty, the program is very demanding and unpredictable. I am ready for the challenge, because I know that is how a medical facility functions.

If you're participating in a school event, the students tend to group up into their own groups. No one really branches out and tries to make new friends or create new groups. In class, however, if you sit next to someone you can strike up a conversation and make new friends. People are too afraid to reach out, but once they do it's worth it. Students are really nice once you get to know them, and often times very helpful.

Sometimes the network goes down, but most times it's very reliable. When it goes down, it makes turning in work a lot more difficult, but if you manage to turn in work without the network going down, then it is reliable. A lot of students and some teachers don't use the email system, instead they prefer to use their own websites or their own personal emails, for convince.

I feel, as an Art major, that the classes they provide do not really pertain to the major I wish to graduate with. You are supposed to take classes from all different sorts of areas, instead of focusing on one area, like art. Some classes could be better suited for art, like Art history or History, maybe basic math, but science does not pertain to general Art.

There are both good and bad teachers, depending on how you connect with the other teachers. If you can connect with the teachers and understand the information that they are providing, then you can have a great academic experience.

There are one or two job fairs per semester in the school. It provides a decent variety of different places to begin a career. Each stand for a different job provides helpful information like brochures or contact cards, in order to better individually provide assistant to those looking for something more.
