The RA is fantastic! She is helpful and friendly, and makes the housing process extremely easy. The apartments aren't too shabby, and there are no dorms on campus. That is an extreme plus for me.

This school is great, except in the Business Office. You just have to keep looking at your ledger to make sure they do not over-charge you for something unnecessary. I have found many mistakes on my account, but the good side is that everyone in the business office is friendly and extremely helpful. They took the over-charges right off immediately.

The Humanities degree is Midwestern's honors program, so I just need to maintain a 3.0 gpa.

All professors at the Seminary have been carefully chosen. For this reason, all programs offer the highest amount of training and experience that will lead students to become fully capable of serving God in all types of ministry.

I am in Midwestern's undergraduate program, and I am pleasantly surprised by how much this program has challenged me. My major is in Cross-culture studies and Humanities. Dr. Arbo seems to be the school's well-kept secret. He is talented in many areas of academia, and his love and passion for students to learn what he has learned benefits me profoundly. I am but a child, learning the minds of great thinkers and artists like Aristotle, Augustine, Descartes, Kant, Rousseau, Locke, Pascal, and Aquinas.

Being a Seminary, drugs and drinking are virtually non-existent at the school

Process of getting into the program is relatively straight forward. I applied online for my major. To be accepted, you need to have the approval of your church to go to seminary. Probably the biggest factor would be your personal testimony, detailing your salvation experience and calling to go to seminary.

As a M Div. major, I am very satisfied with the program. The Biblical survey courses are very thorough, and bring to light many new insights. I hope to enter full-time ministry, most likely a pastoral position.

As a M. Div major, I will be working/volunteering in church and church functions. This can be paid or unpaid, and can entail a wide variety of responsibilities. Example of common responsibilities would be youth ministries and music worship.

It is very easy to get around Kansas City, especially the northland.

There is no drug use on this campus as far as I know

This is a Southern Baptist school that holds to the level of moral standards that are set forht within scripture.

I do not liveon campus but I am told most people like it.

Cafe dining – The food I'd great and inexpensive. They seem to remember that a lot of the students don't have a lot of money to spend on food. So they go out of their way to give you a bang for your bucks. The school also has a food pantry for the students.

I Don't Regret Biblical Studies – As a Biblical Studies major, I made a gamble when i agreed with God that I needed to be here. However, I have thoroughly enjoyed the classes that I am taking. I could not have designed this program any better on my own. They pick the best professors for each class and allow them to do their job to the fullest. My goal is to do counseling within the church and to mentor teens that are faced with the struggles life throws at us all on a daily basis.

You Can Find Them! There are not a whole bunch of fantastic restaurants on the same street as campus, but we are close to several centers where there are fun, different, ethnic dining places that you can explore. You can go up to Zona Rosa for something more high class, over to Parkville for expensive yet new places, to Westport for trendy and international tastes, or even just down to the river market where they have all kinds of ethnicities to choose from!

Well, there are not currently any sports there. However, there has been a softball tournament put on by the students and staff, and there may be an intermural soccer league this fall. Because the undergraduate program is so new, these things are being added slowly but surely.

Tiny Place – The school does not provide any type of transportation; it is a very small school and bikes are permitted. However there is a good community of people there, so no one who needs transportation goes without, there is always someone there to help.

Drug Scene – Once again, this is a Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Drugs are grounds for expulsion from ANY program there.

good teachers, bad administration – Self absorbed, hateful, and dishonest administration. Upon leaving here I swore to never be involved in another SBC organization.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
