Classrooms are relatively nice and spacious. The library is rather small and only has 2 floors. The cafeteria is spacious but offers limited diversity of food. Wellness center offers lots of space for sports.

I heard it is very expensive but not as expensive as living on campus. But there are several apartment complexes near school.

There are many restaurants around the area that offer diversity. There are also several malls that have good places to eat.

Winters are cold and snowy. Summers are very hot. Similar to Chicago weather.

You can't rely too much on public transportation, so it might be a good idea if you have your own car. Carpooling also works.

This is a very expensive school, so you should always keep an eye out for scholarships. The school offers some scholarships which you can apply for through their website, but they are not many.

The library has many computers that are relatively new. Internet works quickly. Printing costs money.

There are no official school sports or teams, but there are a ton of intramurals offered

There are a lot of options as far as the number of different restaurants in the area, but none are convenient to walk to because of the suburban setting.

Campus dining is very expensive, but it does offer some variety.

The pharmacy program is a good program that has challenging courses and good professors. The dental, medical, and physical therapy programs are also high quality.

Parking is good, both the outdoor and deck parking spots are very spacious. However I'd like to see more spots outside of Redwood hall.

The facilities at Midwestern University are all in very good condition, however some of them have too many checkpoints for scanning badges.

There is a great deal of diversity on campus in terms of faculty, students, and staff.

Great School in Every Way Possible – Depending on the program, classes range from 30 to over 200 students. Although most students interact with their respective programs, there is ample opportunity to meet new students from other programs daily, as well as increased opportunities to network with outside professions.

Expanding for the New Classes – Our university just added a new dental program, so more spaces will be needed to accommodate for the upcoming classes. Our university is currently expanding our parking garages to add an extra level or two to our already-existing parking garage, as well as extended parking in the residential areas. The only reason for the A compared to A+ is due to the construction that is taking place for the additional spots

There are available computers everywhere for students to use. In many of our classes, our professors put their lecture notes online so that we may print them beforehand during class, or make notes on our laptops. In terms of printing, although there are plenty of printers available on campus, they are sometimes busy during our 10-minute breaks between classes since students from all programs and years are rushing to print notes before the class begins. Tip: Print out lecture notes 1-2 days in advance so that you will not have to be in the rush.

Midwestern University is a school with multiple programs that are demanding and stressful. One popular way for many students to find relief after exams is to drink alcohol. If there are other students doing other drugs, they do it in their privacy.

Don't Frak up – I haven't run into any problems just because I avoid any drunkenness or illegal things on campus. You may have to talk to the dean if you get a misdemeanor if you aren't on campus... Dr. D can be a scary person that holds your education in the palm of her hand if you frak up. Good luck.

if you like sports, intramurals is where its at. People play like its their goal to destroy you. I played flag football for the first time and our team got demolished every single time. I can only imagine what all the other intramural sports are like...

Guys & Girls:
Friendly Environment – Most people dress casual-preppy or in scrubs as Midwestern is a med school and pharmacy school, and soon to be a dental school. Both genders are pretty good looking and theres all sorts of campus activities to meet and get to know life long friends. The most notable thing about the atmosphere is that everyone is frienly. Everyone will greet you in the hall with a smile and hello and may even want to get to know you better.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
