This club/bar has been described as an upbeat place with a relaxing rhythm. Music is live, and while the drinks may be a bit pricey, they are worth it. Katz is well-known for its martinis, and it has a sophisticated atmosphere.

An Irish pub in the middle of downtown Decatur, Doherty's Pub & Pins has a variety of Irish food and a wide selection of beers. The pub also has bowling lanes, and the building and name have a lot of history.

This is the only gay bar in Decatur.

Well-known for its delicious food, LSB is a short walk away from Millikin. There is often music playing, and when weather permits, there is a small courtyard area to enjoy a meal or a cold beer.

Known for its "at-home" atmosphere and bright colors, Paco's Sol Bistro is the best place to go for good food and comfort in a bar environment.

In the heart of downtown Decatur, Porter's On Merchant provides fine dining in a historic atmosphere. Porter's has great drinks, great food, and offers great times with friends.

This is a good place to go for a game of pool and a beer. If pool isn't your thing, it also has shuffleboard and darts. Starship Billiards has a "Star Trek"-themed menu, and its food is pretty good. This is a good place to go for a quick game and to relax.

While it is not open late, Del's Popcorn Shop is still a nice place to visit. It is open until 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. There is a variety of popcorn to choose from, and it will definitely satisfy your sweet tooth.

Donnie's is known for its delicious pizza, always guaranteed to be made with fresh ingredients. It is a fantastic hangout for Millikin students, especially because of how close it is, and who doesn't love the smell of pizza?

While there aren't a ton of events, there are at least enough to keep one pretty busy. If not an event from UCB, some other organization is bound to have an event.
