the cafe has upgraded its food from the first year i attended. the food is getting a little healthier.

Ask Before You Eat

The food varies from being really wonderful one day, and being so... whelming the next that making a PB&J is the best option. The dining hall also has problems with labeling food allergens, specifically foods that contain nuts. This one has caused me to have an allergic reaction a few times.

If you don't want to eat at the dining hall, there is a cafe' on campus. However, the "points" (flex dollars) can't be used anywhere besides the cafe' and the dining hall. Meal plans also don't apply to food in the cafe'.

Don't Hate on Founders!

Founders, the only dining hall at Mills, is actually really great. People love to hate founders but they make fresh, healthy (for the most part) food that varies every day. Some campuses have the same crappy food every day and Mills is lucky to have real chefs and fresh ingredients for student meals.

But can we talk about that terrible walk up the hill? Oh my god...
