Fair Is Fair

The academic policies are very fair. Students receive an academic warning if they do poorly on an exam, and academic probation happens when a student begins failing multiple classes. Most things are pretty liberal, and students can do basically what they want.

However, one problem is the public safety. They mean well, but are a little trigger-happy when it comes to writing up tickets.

Very Independent

Our policies are not very strict on students who decide to break the rules. We usually get a warning and if we do it again, we do get written up. I suggest that students who break the rules should not break them in their dorms because the RA's are there. We have a forest on campus, which can be pretty convenient. However, other than the RA's on watch, everything is pretty lenient and I always feel treated like an adult.

Not So Bad

They are pretty laid back at Mills. So long as you're not bothering anyone, destroying anything, or putting yourself in danger they don't much care what you do.
