we dont have cable because people were stealing it. there are bugs real bad. its close to the campus though but lifes rough.

Mills Accommodates Commuters

I commute by car 45 minutes each way to and from Mills. When I arrive at Mills in the morning after a long drive, I always feel relieved and welcome as if I am entering a second home. A good percent of the Mills population commutes as well and I feel as if the college has made conscious changes to accommodate us with free parking, a lounge, and a carpool website where you can connect with other commuters in your area. I have enjoyed living off campus. It has not been the most convenient, but it is a decision my partner and I have made to make our current situation work for the both of us. As for the cost, living off campus in Oakland is cheaper than living on campus, but since I live quite a ways away in a more expensive area, I pay as much as I would if I were living on campus.
