I am a Veterinary Assistant student, my program is very hands-on, which I love because we get to work directly with animals. The first 6 weeks of the program is career prep, then after that you jump right into the real work. The work load is quite a bit sometimes but it's all worth it and helps you with everything you need to excel in the program.

Since my schedule is very flexible, it made it very easy for me to attend classes every day of the week. When I can't attend classes, I always have the option of calling or emailing my instructor to let them know I will not be in class for the day.

Professors are really dedicated to students and make sure that students are happy and succeeding in what they are doing. Assignments are very hands on which makes it easier to get involved in and a great learning experience. The school has very effective communication skills so it's easy to go to any professor or staff member to request help, like tutoring, or just to talk to them personally one on one.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I am grateful that there was some financial available to me, but do to my husbands income, I didn't get as much as I was hoping for, but what the Financial Aid didn't cover, the school covered the rest in an interest free personal loan through them. I make monthly payments to them and didn't have to come up with a huge lump sum like other schools

Unfortunately there are several students who complain on a daily basis, about the program and voice their opinion loudly. There are always going to be complainers, but the administrative staff will meet with these students and do their best to meet the needs of these students and resolve any issues that they have.

My School is the only one with in a 75 Mile radius that offers this program, I am very grateful that it is available to me. They also offer bus passes to all students to get a free ride to school, it is part of the package.

Since starting the Veterinary program in January, I would have to say that I am completely satisfied with my experience thus far! I have been in clinical courses for over a month and I love it. It is challenging, but worth every bit of studying something I am so passionate about. Working with the animals within 2 months of starting the program really makes me realize that taking this step was worth it. I admit, I was skeptical at first since this program is new here and I didn't know much about MCC....but since it is small and hands-on, at my age, I am able to learn better and ask questions without feeling embarrassed. Can't wait to see what we start doing next!

I would NOT recommend this school at all!!! The Vet assistant program is a joke. Quizzes don't match the books or material. Teacher are learning as they go, which makes it very confusing for students. I will NOT be moving on the the Vet Tech program, because I can learn more from another school or even an online course. $15,000 was a total waste of my money. Find another school for Vet Assistant or Tech, this school has no clue what they are doing!

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I Will Make It. I am getting Financial Aid, some loans and paying off my pocket right away, the only problem its not I am not working so my parents are going to help me with that. It's not like they have the money but They will help me until I can get at least a Part time job and with the scholarships if I get any it will be less.

Just Started – I finally decided to go back to school because I couldn't find a job, I have been unemployed. MCC offers what I have been looking for, classes are M - F from 8a.m. - Noon. have a chance to work in the afternoon. Once I went to the facility to take the tour I loved it! and also loved that I will graduate within a year, May 13th 2013 will be my last class day, I am pretty excited about it.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Dealing with the financial aid department was great but the only thing I don't really like is having an out-of-pocket balance while you are in school. Depending on how much financial aid pays for you still have a balance every month that you are responsible for. I understand that it has to be paid but it stresses me to think if I can't make the payment that month I will be dropped from my classes.

Mostly Easy – Credits do not transfer, downside. Nice location, nice atmosphere. Flexible classes and times-- 3 to choose from. Could benefit from a childcare service.

They would always have something going on for the students, such as "Hotdog Day, Gender Bender Day, Red White and Blue Day". The Student Body was very active with us students.

I have never worked with online courses. I think I prefer to stick with peer to peer interaction.

Anatomy & Physiology – My instructor (Mr. Welty) was awesome! He would share his life experiences to help us students get the understantding of A&P. He would also call everyone to participate in the class, and that was to make sure that we all knew what we were doing in class.
