This school should not be an institution. Their grading system is made for elementary students, they don't stay on course, it's expensive to learn basically the same I did in high school. They never discipline the way they say they will. Their "placement" office sends graphic majors to office max. They just want your money. Don't consider this place if you want a real education. But if you want someone to hold your hand and rob your bank account, then by all means this place is perfect.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Little bit pricey for a short program, and the courses offered aren't all that special.

There is almost always a computer ready for you to be used. Teachers are very willing to be able to meet with you before or after you classes, and by appointment. They work with you to try and brighten your future options.

Its easy to make friends here, but sometimes there is a lot of drama because of how small the school is. So if you tell one person something the whole school finds out.

we form a group of people that carry concerns of students to the lecturers for them to be resolved.

The professors interact really good with the students. They are very accessible. They are alwyas willing to help students better understand the material. They space the material out so it's not overwhelming. They give you a reasonable about of homework and time to do it outside of class. They also go over the homework assignments in class so you can make sure you are doing it right.

There is no online courses at my college. You must be in the facility and the classrooms everyday to get the materials for that day.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition is very reasonable and is not that expensive. It is a reasonable amount for all the material you are learning. The administration office helps you set up your student loans and financial aid so you know which direction to start in.

I am in the Medical Assisting program. The courses you take directly relate to your career path. You dont have any generals that have nothing to do with your major. Every class has a major role in the Medical Assisting career. It is very fast paced and a lot of memorization, but it is not too hard and very easy to do. The professors are very good at explaining the material and then they allow you to demonstrate the tasks you just learned. For example, they teach you how to take a blood pressure with a blood pressure cuff, and then you have to perfrom the task on your fellow classmates.

My school is very hands-on learning. There are many different ethnic groups that attend my college. The courses are very fast paced but are still very possible to accomplish. If you do your work and participate in class, you should have no problem getting an A. Everyone at my school is hardworking. Most students have already began making a family and most students have jobs as well.

To be honest and straight, the main reason I chose this school, because it was cheaper than any other school.

Easy Like a Sunday Morning – One thing is that online classes save you money. You do not have to pay for housing and fuel or transportation to campus.I think online classes are cheaper than the traditional classes.
Online classes are more convenient. You can work around at your own pace.

High Tech – The school is basically covered in computers that is always able to be accessed. Also a library to find books and able to ship books in that are needed.

Exactly as Described – It's a business college. Nothing more and nothing less. It's extremely small and doesn't even have it's own dorms and no ACTUAL food hall or sports teams, but I'm okay with that because I want to get my degree and move on.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Feels Pressuring – I like to be able to have faith in myself to get the school paid off but most of the time I felt pressured by the people working for the school. Yes, I know I have to get the ball rolling but I hate loans and to feel pressured into having to take them, because they don't think I'll get scholarships, is a horrible feeling. They were very helpful into putting everything in perspective but could have done better.

I think they do a good job here.

Students at MBC – I was a little surprised at the lack of good reading skills that a majority of the students in my classes had.

Considering this is the first college I've been in, I would say that overall I have had a decent experience. There have been times where I've disagreed with their views on things, but mostly with dress codes rather than my education I've received. The teachers are great. Although, the Graphic Design program is relatively new, there are times where I've felt that some of the projects we've had aren't really helpful to my process of improving towards my potential career in this field. Besides that, I'm satisfied with my experience so far, and I enjoy the fact that the school focuses on only the classes and subjects that will be vital to my preferred career, and because of this, my time at the school is at least 1 year long.

Computer Resource Review – I woud say that the computer labs, printers, etc. are pretty reliable at Minneapolis Business College. Most of the classes I have spend most of the time on the computer since I'm in Graphic Design, and they provide updated computers, software, and they make sure that you have enough time to work efficiently to complete assignments. As far as the network goes, I would say that works well most of the time. It becomes slow when people start using sites like Facebook and Youtube - sites that really aren't necessary to be on, but otherwise, the network functions on a satisfying speed.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
