The workload was what I expected, but sometimes a bit more than expected. There was a lot of reading and studying that I had each week, about 12 to 20 hours a week. It is manageable. Since my classes transferred easily and well, I could focus on the classes intended for my degrees and get through the process in a timely manner. I don't have an internship opportunity and am nervous about job prospects.

It can truly be a challenge because I had to be very disciplined to have time set aside everyday to study for a 9-credit, 3 course, semester. I don't get the same relationship with the professor and students and a lot less motivation to keep me going. It takes a lot of self-determination and a willpower. In the classes though, discussion is always encouraged which does help keep me motivated and other's can answer questions that I have sooner than the teacher can. .

This online school has been very convenient and flexible for me. I can work around my other responsibilities easily. The teachers are knowledgeable and have been very good at explaining and material, and they are very responsive towards me when I have had questions. There was one teacher who I had problems with and the school responded to our problems with her. My credits transferred without any problems, and I only had to retake two classes, which I had expected to have to retake: Anatomy and Physiology.

The school has many different options for classes; day, evening, online. It is very nice to have all of those options. I'm going to school for nursing, and the school only has a couple of options for labs and clinicals so in that area they are not very flexible.

Taking online classes are hard because the student has to be very independent in their learning. Minnesota West does a good job at student-teacher communication and outlines the main focal points of the material which make the online process easier.

When I get close to graduating, my school counselor will help me to find a job in my career, help me apply for the job, etc. They have an 89% employment rate for my degree.

My school is mostly of people of the middle-class with full time jobs or students who can't quite afford to be in a university yet, but everyone is accepting of one another. Many of students juggle between working, school, and still maintaining a social life.

My teachers are willing to work with me after class when I'm not sure about a couple homework assignments. It feels like they have taken me under their wing to make sure I succeed and have a great career after I graduate. If I can't seem to figure something out about class registering, individuals are willing to work with me so I can get into my needed classes.

My school isn't a campus students live on but the environment is friendly when classes are in session. It's easy to study since there are multiple rooms designed for studying. The student center is very helpful when you have questions.

There are multiple labs of computers available around the campus. They advise to have your own laptop for summer classes or late night homework doing. The internet is being constantly updated so the speed continues to keep up.

My program can be hard at times with a big workload but the teachers are willing to help in anyway. All of the classes I have taken so far have accompanied my degree in some way. I also like how I am put to clinical sites very early in my education career for Radiologic Technician.

The school is open late so if I need to practice on a piece of equipment, I'm able to do so. It has many different programs that one can join. It also has multiple student resources to help students succeed.

It's a very good school. It's small and personal and it helps students learn better with a professor always on hand.

The professors are very involved with the students and the small classes make it easier to ask questions.

It is small enough so everyone gets the face-to-face help that they need. So everyone can succeed.

Online classes are convenient because they aren't always at a specific time of day. They allow a little more freedom with time. I thought an online class would be too much for me cause i need person to person contact, but because i lived near the college i could make an appointment to meet with the prof if i didn't understand something, or i would just email her and she was a great help- this was even during summer. They are very helpful and it gave me a great education and helped me with time management.

For being a Tech school it is a great education for the price. There are many things to get involved in. It is also a very diverse school. Having campuses in smaller but very diverse towns really helps the racial aspect of things and forces people to work with others they might not have worked with in a different college. People are very willing to help others out and really reach out to others weather through mentoring or just answering question. Everyone seems to be reaching for the same goal of a good education, and entering into the next step of life.
