I have not used the computers on campus as I live off campus and bring my laptop with me to classes.

Most labs have classes in them, but once classes are over they are generally free. The computers run Windows 7 but the hardware is a little outdated. Any labs with Macs are almost always full. Even if there is a class in the computer lab most students carry their own personal computing devices (tablets, laptops ect.) so many students are seen using their own computer next to the schools computers.

Minot State offers computer everywhere on campus. There is always open computers around campus and at the library. All the computers are connected to the printers. Laptops can be rented out to students. The network is usually fast. The Wifi can be slow at times when its connected to a cell phone. Overall Minot state has reliable computers and printers.

Great Availability at MSU – There are many laptops, printers, and locations that you can do homework. But, there are none within the dorms. So, it is very important that you bring your own laptop, but not crucial to bring a printer other than for convenience. The network is fast during the day, but when everyone is on the internet at night it tends to be slow.

You find computers around every corner on campus with printers. During lunch hour the computers in the student center are pretty busy but they are several other options if you go to another building and everywhere is very close so you don't have to worry about traveling far. You can even rent out laptops if yours is being worked on.
