Let's just say that parking isn't Misericordia's strong suit. No matter the day of the week, finding a spot is impossible. But some students have a method of how to find a spot on campus. Here's the scenario: if a student has a sociology class at 10 a.m. and he wants to grab a Starbucks coffee beforehand, he better be on campus an hour early just to get a desired spot near Banks Student Life Center. Students worry more about finding a spot than the actual location of where they have to park.
The only positive side about parking is that the lots are all interconnected. Students don't have to drive through separate parking lots to find a spot; they just have to circle the campus a few times, and then maybe they can beat someone to a last-minute opening. Finding a spot on campus is more competitive than most of the classes at Misericordia. However, there is some hope on the horizon with expansion in the near future. With the addition of a new football team coming in 2012, Misericordia has decided to add more parking lots on campus. As time goes on, the situation should get easier.
