The few times I've used a university computer, my experience was satisfactory.

There's not many computer labs on campus. The labs that we do have are pretty big so there's not really a need for many computer labs. The staff there are willing to help and the cost for printing is low. Overall, the technology and computer labs are great at Mississippi State.

There are not a great deal of computer labs on campus. The library, located centrally, has a very large lab with a lot of computers but it sometimes is very busy and you may have to wait to get a computer. A few buildings with classrooms, such as McCool, have labs but sometimes they are used by classes and do not all have printers so they aren't reliable. The only dorm I am aware of that has a computer lab is the Honors College dorm, Griffis. The printer runs out of ink often and sometimes you need your own computer paper to fill it up. I recommend having a personal computer and printer. Much more convenient, and when I want to do online homework (which you will most likely for math, chem, and physics) I don't have to leave my room.

I have a laptop and a printer, and I don't use the computer labs or printers. The network can go down but rarely, and on average, it has a good speed.

computers work great in the labs, but the wifi is not reliable on campus if you have a laptop
