The cafeteria is quite possibly the worst food I've ever eaten. I haven't been there in probably a month even though i have a meal plan because i can't stand it. The lion's den is actually pretty good but you only have a few options there. It's reasonably priced in the $5-6 range but i know a lot of people don't have the extra money to eat there once their dining dollars (an amount you get along with your meal plan, it depends on how many meals you get. For the 10 meal plan you get $200, for the 15 meal plan you get $175 and with the 23 meal plan you get $150) run out

The printing costs 10 cents a page, which i think is probably about average. You can always find an available computer in the library or a lab.

There are tons of restaurant choices from your typical chain restaurants, to local favorites (gusanos, smallcakes) to unique choices like M&M Bistro downtown which serves Persian and Mediterranean food and is delicious. As for activities there is the movie theater, bowling alley, a great mall, laser tag, and much more. Springfield, which is a much bigger town with even more to do, is also about a 45 minute drive away

I understand where the people who live in Blaine are coming from.. it's pretty gross. However, the rest of the choices are great. McCormick is the cheapest option which is clean with traditional two person rooms. The rooms are larger than most campuses. I personally live in the on campus apartments which is the next cheapest option. There are two bedrooms and one bath for four people. Jonestly i love the apartments. Yes i have some noisy neighbors on occasion but it's never been a big issue. The apartments allow for a lot more flexibility than the traditional rooms. Your other chice is East which is suites two bedroom and two bath for four people. This is a more expensive option but also the nicest. If you can afford East then go for it but the apartments are almost the same quality minus one bathroom for a lot less money. You can also choose to have a private room which are in McCormick and blaine. This is your most expensive choice and i wouldn'tpersonally rrecommend it. I feel like you lose a lot of the college experience living by yourself.

our schools internet is horrible. It is slow, laggy, and hardly ever works. They also recently changed it to have this password every time you want to use it and they announced they were going to change it again.

I used to be a part of ZTA before I became horribly ill. I loved every part of it except as time went on my sisters became more and more stuck up. I know we did a lot for the campus as well as the community as a whole and we were well known but there were times where I wish we behaved better.

I gave it a 3 because the campus is very strict on a lot of things, but some of the issues the school is strict on seem silly. They are overly strict on parking and there is little parking available for students.

I have not had to rely on the school computers as I have always had my own. When I did use one they were available in my area and easy to use. They are updated and speed is excellent.

The business dept is fairly easy to get into. I did not have to do anything special for admission into this area. It is a popular area and some classes are difficult to get into.

I have not had one and have no plans to. Not feasible for me as I work full time already and am attending school.

The community is very receptive to students and hiring for part time jobs. There is not a lot of parking near the school, but where it is needed there seems to be enough. Shopping and night life are very accessible to students and the transportation issue has improved with the start up of a trolley system.

There never seems to be enough parking close to the building you are wanting to go to. None of the parking is close and what is there by any building is filled or reserved for employees. Really bad when weather is poor.
College Senior 2013-11-05T22:49:53Z
I haven't had cause to be aware of many of these topics. I am aware that the policy on honor is very much in effect and enforced and the parking is enforced.

Some of the newer buildings are a lot more modern and nicer than the others. The buildings that are part of the original campus are looking it. Both inside and out. The wear and tear is showing.

I do not nor have I ever felt pressured to partake in any form of drugs or alcohol. I am not interested in any drugs and will occasionally have an alcoholic drink, but only when I want to.

for the most part, all students are treated equal. There is nothing blatant in regards to mistreatment due to someones ethnic, religious, race, economic condition, or political beliefs or sexual orientation.

It is there, but not something that is very apparent. Everyone knows they are around on campus. There is no special housing for them. They are friends with everyone.

Personally I don't like going outside when it is hot and I prefer the cold weather, but the events are not as exciting. The events include watching a movie mostly. The campus needs to find more universal activities to get students involved in.

Most of our town includes fast food or major chain restaurants. It is mostly steakhouses and Mexican food as well. So good luck finding anything different. If it is different it won't last long in this town.

I had no problems getting into my major I just have problems with my advisers. I have had to change many times due to the fact I couldn't get the help that I needed. I have always been able to find help from someone and I always get pointed in the right direction so overall I am pleased.

I know the school is really involved with internships and I am currently looking into getting one. I am trying to get an international business major so I'm having to look abroad. I do know that some of the internships include working for the company a few hours a day after your classes. That is all that I know at the moment.

Health & Safety:
The campus has added more "help" buttons throughout campus and offers defense classes for any student.
College Senior 2013-11-05T08:12:53Z
Since I have been on campus there has been a real rise in student activities and available fun things to get involved in. The campus has been really trying to involve the students and become that involved school. The athletics have always been popular especially football and basketball. I know that I was involved with some sports at the start of school but no longer am. The rec center that is available to the students in one of the bests that I have seen with a dividable basketball court for multiple uses and having yoga, zumba and defense classes available.

This year luckily was pretty smooth compared to my other years having to receive my financial aid. Every year it seems as if they lose my paperwork or it gets put on hold for so long I'm almost kicked out of school. I know many of my friends have had the same experiences and it seems to get worse every year.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
