I feel that MACC strives to work with students to ensure they are successful.

I is difficult to post every day, however I see the need for this. Online courses are more challenging then expected.

There is no athletic center, library, or really any campus activities.

I use the computer lab/ resource center to write some of my papers. I use the printers to print them off. The network reliability is always having issues it seems like.
College Junior 2013-10-01T22:12:38Z
There is a kitchen that everyone can use which is nice.

I chose this school because the teachers are more relational and the cost is very cheap. My credits transferred great. They actually transferred more than I thought they would.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I feel like I am getting more than my money at MACC. At MACC I am learning not only the material but life skills I will apply for the rest of my life. The staff at this campus treats you more than just a number and that goes for more than just the teachers. The financial aid office helped me in less than thirty minutes of being in the office in and out.

I rarely use the student center. I just recently began to use the library at the main campus in Moberly and the staff there is always willing to help you with a smile. There is no coffee shop on campus but I feel the small campus and great staff more than makes up for the little things this campus is lacking.

I have only once had trouble accessing the schools network. The college gives students a warning full in advance to students to know when there sites are going to be down. The only problem I have with this school is the email service used to relay information to students.

I feel that the teachers at MACC are great. The students at MACC on the other hand treating the school like high school. College is not high school its a place to get an education to allow you to get a good job. College is to open your eyes to others and teach you how to think about the world too.

On the campus I am at, the library is very small, but there are more than enough computers for all the students, and there are various ways to get information through online libraries, book rentals and loans from other universities, and databases.

We have had our troubles with my degree, as in trying to make sure I am enrolled in the program that is what I want and best fits me. I wish that the instructors didn't cut the material we are supposed to cover because there is not enough time in class during our 16 week session. They need to better divide their time and schedules.
College Senior 2013-07-29T15:00:05Z
Many of our resources are great. I am unsure as to any of the campus activities. No complaints.

The wireless connection is very poor and the internet speed or speed of someother computers is too slow often times kicking you out of your programs. We really need an upgrade in our internet speed.

Some of the instructors take on more than they can handle so you aren't learning most of the information set in the syllabus. The tuition is easier to handle for any low income family and the books for the most part are cheap enough. The only problem I have with my school is that the teachers are over extended, often taking time away from what you are learning because they don't have time to grade things in a timely manner due to their many engagements.

There is a LOT of variety on campus. Many are students who work full time and are trying to go to school for better employment. Some are students right out of highschool but they are mixed in with older students. There are many ethnicities and alternative lifestyles present on campus.

I have been quite lucky in most of my teachers. Most have been enthusiastic and interested in students and have helped to make the classes interesting. One teacher said she prefers community college to larger universities because you tend to get a stronger variety of students.
Of the teachers I have had only two I did not view as helpful. One was a very by-the-book teacher who did not encourage class discussion, the other was not helpful and tended to be rude when questions were asked. But there are only two examples of 6 professors I have taken.

MACC is intended primarily for two-year students. Therefore they are mostly interested in getting your general requirements out of the way and only light encouragement in majors. There is a general atmosphere that those who attend classes at MACC probably have a good idea of what they want to do, nursing, etc.

I myself have not utilized the career services. However, if one were to pursue the applied health fields there are many resources available in the moberly campus for internships and allowing students to discuss their options with personnel.

I have no complaints. The population is very diverse and comfortable.

Our campus has lots to offer. We have an activity/athletic center, we have a library, several computer labs, on going campus activities, and many updates to the buildings to make them look more modern and sophisticated.

I go to a small community college but there is a great diversity of people.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
