School Spirit
While the Bobcats may not always be a winning team, students, faculty, and fans seem to forget this whenever the University of Montana Grizzlies are in town. The whole town focuses on the game, and it rarely disappoints. Homecoming is also a major event, complete with royalty and a parade which draws quite the crowd. Everyone likes to get involved and decks themselves out in blue and gold to cheer on the `Cats.
Getting Tickets
Tickets can usually be found the day of the game, unless it is Homecoming or a Cat/Griz game. The Askus desk and the fieldhouse are your two best bets for getting your ticket, but don't forget your One Card—that will get you a ticket for free.
Best Place to Take a Walk
Bozeman is full of hiking trails, and the best ones that are still close to campus are in Hyalite Canyon, about a 15-minute drive away. For those looking for a leisurely stroll, the historic neighborhoods around campus offer beautiful homes to look at and a fairly flat surface.
