Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

Bozeman has the best options for inexpensive dining in a college town, hands down. La Parilla, a wrap place with some of the strangest (and yummiest) combinations available, was recently voted the best restaurant in Bozeman. Salmon wraps, Thai curry wraps, pasta wraps, and just about every other bizarre wrap mixture you can imagine are available here. Watch out for the La Parilla Challenge at the beginning of each month, when groups have to go on wild scavenger hunts in the hopes of winning the Challenge and receiving a month’s worth of free wraps.

Due to its late-night hours, the Pita Pit on Main Street is a fun place to go around midnight when hungry partiers and barhoppers can be seen wandering in for a bite. Everyone in Bozeman agrees that Mackenzie River offers the best pizza in town. While it may be a bit pricier than Domino’s five-dollar pizza nights, it feels like you are eating a real meal, rather than just stuffing some grease into your mouth. Students and Bozeman residents choose the Cateye Café when it comes to breakfast, where the menu holds such delicacies as banana bread french toast and the Catastrophe: a blend of potatoes, vegetables, eggs, and cheese. Though students do not usually have the cash to eat at Bozeman’s nicer dining establishments, many like to take advantage of a parent’s visit to try out Looie’s Down Under or the Sweet Pea Bakery.

Meh

I really haven't gone off campus to eat. I have a 5 day meal plan, so eat on campus most of the time. The other days, I'm a bum and snack on things I've collected during the week or go to events with free food. But I've heard good things about lots of places within walking distance- plus there's the free bus for the rest of town. Decent student discounts, such as 10% off at IHOP.

Simple Makes It Happen.

Our school is definitely devoted to the safety of students and staff. With the simple and easy steps of adding lighting, transportation, a campus-wide tobacco ban, and 911 push button stands placed all over campus, it's easy to know who is in mind. The ASMSU student directed and run senate keeps our ideas on the move, I feel safe even when walking alone at night, knowing I can call up Campus Police anytime for an escort anywhere on campus is a comforting feeling, one that lets me know I am in a good place.

Late Night Delivery

Pita Pit is fantastic, healthy, and open until 3 am, and they deliver! Bamboo Garden is pretty good Chinese, and they deliver up until 10:30. Both great for when you're stuck studying late for a test and there's nothing left in the cupboards.
