Best Places to Find a Spot
- The Hedges lot, one of the largest on campus, almost always has some open spaces, but they are usually far away from the dorms.
- For those students watching their checkbooks, it is possible to find a spot off campus—just be willing to walk a few extra blocks, and make sure you don't park where a resident parking sign is present.
Good Luck Getting a Spot Here
Pretty much anywhere on the northeast side of campus, where the low-rises are, is always full.
Getting a Parking Permit
Compared to most college campuses, and even some high schools, parking at MSU is relatively cheap. Getting a permit is usually no problem whatsoever and just takes a quick trip to the University Police.
