Campus Tours

Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), group campus tours are given at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. and depart from Hamilton Hall room 120. They last just under an hour and are guided by student tour guides. No appointment is needed for these. MSU Fridays are another ideal way to visit the school. They are offered three times a year and give prospective students an opportunity to meet with professors, visit with current students, attend sample classes, and see first-hand what life at MSU is like. Go to www.montana.edu/wwwnss/msufriday.shtml to register for the program.

Overnight Visits

The Host Program gives prospective students a chance to "shadow" residence hall student through a typical day. The $50/night fee includes housing and meals. Call the Residence Life Office at (406) 994-2661 or email housing@montana.edu at least two weeks before your planned visit

Prospective Weekend

MSU Fridays happen 3 times a year. MSU Friday is an all-day, on-campus program which offers an in-depth preview of college life at Montana State University. Prospective students and their families will have the opportunity to meet with faculty and students, explore academic facilities, tour the campus, and investigate possibilities for financial aid and scholarships.
