My school does not allow off-campus housing, though there are efforts from student government to have off-campus housing again.

Financial aid at my school seems to be very willing to help, and the aid itself is enough to get through school, even though I've had to take out federal loans. Overall the school was very willing to help, especially with my unique situation of already having registered with another school when that other school was unwilling to help with financial aid.

I have never been to the bars near campus, though there are two that are very popular. For parties, nightlife and transportation, as long as a designated driver can be found or the desire to take a walk, one can go to the other university to go to good parties and a better social scene.
College Sophomore 2013-11-09T17:21:39Z
Weather does not generally affect me as the campus is small enough to get around easily, and there are only concerns when it snows very heavily. In those cases, classes end up canceled anyway so weather does not actually affect the need to move around campus.

Bethlehem is a very historic town, so it has nice architecture and so on. As well as being near another university, however I personally find my college to feel as if I am a bit stranded, as cultural events only happen occasionally, there are few on campus activities and off campus activities, there are no nearby malls, and my college does not have good sports and recreation.

Dining on campus is difficult as dining halls close quite early, and cafe areas only serve certain kinds of food. I often feel that there is not enough option, as well as not enough late night options.

As the campus is pretty small, I feel that parking is great, and while spots are hard to get, as long as you have a permit then you can usually find a spot.

Guys & Girls:
I feel as if most students at my college are upper-middle class white, and there is not much ethnic diversity on the campus. Relationships seem to be a bit childish at times, but there are "real people" with good relationships between themselves. Dress seems to be the average college dress. Social life on campus is very limited as partying seems to be the only way to really meet new people, and not everyone wants to meet people at a party.

While the computers at my school are a bit older, they are available almost 100% of the time, with designated labs and printers. If something needs to be done on the computer, one can definitely find a place for it.

Although there are problems with my school, they gave me a great scholarship when I could not afford to attend the school that I had already chosen and begun attendance processes with. The staff is overall very nice, and though I don't enjoy how small the campus is, I enjoy the one-on-one time I get with my advisors.
College Sophomore 2013-11-09T17:03:09Z
My campus is split into two parts, with about a mile in between. The shuttle does run often, but I feel it does not run often enough for students to enjoy both ends of the campus without feeling trapped on one end of the campus.
College Sophomore 2013-11-09T17:01:32Z
There are very few off-campus dining options as most are gourmet places that are not open late. The campus dining does not have many options either and leaves students feeling without any options.

Health & Safety:
Campus safety is always present, and there is very little crime that occurs on campus. The officers are always willing to help, no matter what time it is.
College Sophomore 2013-11-09T16:56:21Z
Both are present, but there is no pressure to participate.

There are good computer labs located throughout campus.

Moravian seems to me to be a pretty diverse and accepting college.
College Freshman 2013-10-17T00:36:15Z
I think Moravian's facilities are very good. The Hill and PPHAC are great.
College Freshman 2013-10-17T00:33:32Z
Moravian's facilities are very nice, clean, and modern.

Not too much drug usage, more alcohol than anything and peer pressure is actually not that bad.
College Sophomore 2013-08-07T20:23:51Z
Most of the nice restaurants are located on Main St. but to me they can be pricey so students usually eat on campus to save money.
College Sophomore 2013-08-07T20:22:22Z
Shuttle buses run every 15 minutes so it's easy to get to class on time.
College Sophomore 2013-08-07T20:19:27Z
From what I hear its pretty good but I don't go to any parties and I'm underage.

Over the past few years, Moravian has been upgrading a lot of facilities. Both the athletic and student centers have new looks. The new Pavillion is a great place to have lunch with friends, hang out in the booths and watch tv, or lounge around on the outdoor patio.

Due to there being a Main Campus and South Campus at Moravian College their bus transportation is free for students. They even drop you off wherever you need to go.
College Senior 2013-07-15T21:39:10Z
The computer labs at Moravian College are very nice. There are multiple labs that either have MAC or PC, but sometimes one can find a lab that has both types for people who are more comfortable with either a MAC or PC. Also each computer has the most updated programs, mostly for the Art department.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
