There are a lot of students at Mount Ida that consider Mount Ida to be a family. Most students get along very well, but there are those few that refuse to have open minds and who have been brought up to believe that there is nothing wrong with discrimination. However at Mount Ida College - we don't roll that way. We are all equal and all capable of treating each other with respect and kindness.

The area is more diverse than I expected it to be, but not as much as other schools in the area. Racial and ethnic diversity is still a minority, even with the extensive international student population. However, the campus is very accepting of people of all creeds and backgrounds, including a very vocal LGBT group.

There are people of many different races and religions at OSU, but they comprise a negligible percentage of the student body.

There are so many people that attend this school and so many people that don't believe in diversity. I always see groups of friends that are of different ethnicity, economic background and sexual orientation. We just base our friendship and fellow students by personality.

I like how Mount Ida accepts many international student: it shows how they aren't racist, but are very accepting. But what bothers me, is the lack of english classes available for them. It's good that they keep some of their culture with them, but they won't make it far in an english-speaking country.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
