Health & Safety:
I love our public safety team. They're always out and about in and outside of the school. They're always friendly and helpful and give the students the cell number and work number for anything they may need.

I really love my program so far. Its fun, the instructors are awesome and have real life experience in their fields. I feel challenged and I like that because I know I'll be facing that in the work place as well. The head of the Interior Design program is really great at keeping everyone updated on related events (ASID, IIDA), scholarship opportunities, and internship options too.
College Freshman 2013-11-10T07:18:25Z
I haven't personally had an internship experience yet, however I've only heard good things about people getting into the programs and then getting into careers through them.

There's buses everywhere. Mayfair mall is just a couple blocks down and they're currently working on an addition to the mall down the street. There are plenty of places to eat all over the place, parks just down the street and lots of other nearby colleges and school like Marquette, UW-Milwaukee, and Wisconsin Lutheran College.

The computer labs we have are very nice, some in the classrooms could use an update but everything is usable and working. Printing isn't horrible but not fantastic, I know a lot of people who have old printers from home (myself included) or get one that works nice from goodwill. I think its nice to have your own but its definitely not necessary. For the speed of someone's internet, it kind of depends on your computer, some of my friends are really slow, but I have no problems so yea.

We have a huge parking lot (its never totally full) set right behind the school building with easy access to both the residence hall and classroom halls. We also have an awesome public safety team that's constantly patrolling the grounds and keeping an eye out for trouble. It's a pretty safe lot.

Guys & Girls:
Unfortunately, this is an all girl campus/school except for a few guys in the graduate program. If dating is a priority for you, you have to go visit other local colleges or go out on the town often.
College Freshman 2013-11-10T07:04:23Z
There are plenty of food plans to choose from, the dining hall is great with lots of options and new menus everyday for every meal. We have an awesome executive chef who loves his work so the food is great. You can get munch money put on to your account and you can use it throughout the other places with food on campus.

There are quite a few girls who have their own cars here and it's usually pretty easy to carpool (depending on where you live). I can't say I've needed to use the bus, train, or airport but there are a lot of bus routes here, I know the airport is very close, and I have friends who use the train and the station is only about 15 minutes away.

I'm not one for getting crap-faced or anything like that. We have movie nights and game nights and homework parties. It may sound lame to some people but we actually remember the fun we have and don't feel ashamed of it later. I love the lack of "parties" honestly.
College Freshman 2013-11-10T06:57:12Z
I can say I have not seen or heard of any sort of drug use on campus. As for alcohol, you have to be of age to have it in your room and have your door shut while drinking.

I never thought a school could be so diverse but I have certainly been proven incorrect. I can't even begin to count the different ethnicities and backgrounds here.

Most of our school building is actually 100 years old at this point so there are places that could use some minor renovations here and there. But overall it has a very homey and warm atmosphere to it. The library is pretty awesome, 2 stories worth of resources and very helpful librarians. There's always something going on at campus, we have movie nights, dances, hot chocolate bar nights, a lot of small things planned by RA's. There's a barnes and noble in the basement along with Parkway Place (student hangout and mini restaurant) and a Starbucks. There are plenty of places to hang out or study but the dorms are probably the most popular hang out place. Like mentioned previously, they could probably use a few updates but they're comfortable and fun. This place has become a home away from home for me already.
College Freshman 2013-11-10T06:47:05Z
I'm only a freshmen right now, 18, so I don't currently have the means to live off campus so I haven't looked into it much.
College Freshman 2013-11-10T06:45:07Z
There's a lot of help and support here. Everyone is friendly and open and willing to help you with whatever you need. I've very quickly made close friends and there is always something fun going on. There aren't many "parties" but that's fine by me, there is a lot of hanging out in other people's dorm room, though, and we all work together on homework (sometimes) haha. Overall, I am incredibly happy with my school choice.

We have a lot of cool technology that is available to the students and out tech support is always there to help.
College Sophomore 2013-11-08T16:43:48Z
The administration is very strict however, it make out campus a better and safer place.
College Sophomore 2013-11-08T16:42:36Z
Most students are too focused on school to party. But there is a decent bar scene not too far off of campus.
College Sophomore 2013-11-08T16:41:43Z
We are very close to Mayfair mall as well as coffee shops, art supply stores and much more. There is a bus route right off of our campus.
College Freshman 2013-11-07T01:56:38Z
Attendance is must for all classes
College Freshman 2013-11-07T01:54:53Z
There are a lot of different backgrounds, sexual orientation, religion, and economic backgrounds
College Freshman 2013-11-07T01:53:40Z
I love being in Wauwatosa just outside of Downtown Milwaukee. Mayfair Mall is a 20 minute walk away from campus
College Freshman 2013-11-07T01:52:25Z
Food could be better... at times it is cold
College Freshman 2013-11-07T01:49:41Z
I got more financial aid that I anticipated
College Freshman 2013-11-06T22:13:36Z
We haven't had any problems with the weather.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
