Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

Mount Vernon Nazarene University is a great school that could be better with a few changes (adjusting the curfews, having better cafeteria food, and having more on-campus events and activities). However, if given the opportunity, most students would probably still choose MVNU all over again. The education students receive not only delves deep into the heart of the subjects, but the Nazarene emphasis of the school also brings ministry into the classes.

The issues discussed in the courses, whether they relate to Christianity or not, can be related to what is taught in class and the professors show the relation between the two. Not only does it help students learn things about their future careers, but it also provides them with a greater purpose of how to turn their work field into a better mission field. Through their time at MVNU, students will make friendships that last a lifetime, experience memories to cherish for years to come, and at least begin to understand how God wants to use them for His kingdom.

Campus Could Be Worse

the campus is decent, but could use some work. the school is building a new athletic center soon so that should liven things up a bit, but overall things are pretty good.

They Are Helpful
