Advice on Financial Aid
When applying for financial aid, search for every scholarship offered by the school. Even if the odds aren't in your favor, apply anyway. You never know what could happen. Take advantage of every offer given by the school, even if it requires more work from you, unless it causes your grades to fall. Search throughout your college career for scholarships, in any search engine or scholarship database, and apply for as many as you can for the four to five years you're in college. If you don't understand something, ask. If you find you're struggling to make the last few thousand dollars, ask Financial Aid if a one-time grant can be given.
