The student body consists of working class parents, students right out of college, and students in high school. There is a diversity of many people, the majority of the students are very friendly.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education I am getting is well worth the price I am paying. I love the fact that I do not have to spend a fortune for a good education. The people in the financial aid office are somewhat helpful, make sure you stay on top of them and always ask questions.

The school really has an abundance of classes and programs to be offered ranging from nursing, to criminal justice, to end just a general studies certification. The campus is four large buildings all is close range with one another so parking at any of the parking lots around campus isn't a hassle to walk even to the furthest building. Meaning small size, the professors really get to have a one on one relationship with the student. I'm my experience at mountain empire my classes have never been above a 50 student count which is really nice. The only down fall is the class registration is online, in my 3rd semester now, I have the system pretty much figured out but for all new students I've known with myself included, have struggled majorly to get classes added and signed up for.

Mountain empire offers a system called blackboard and through this you can summit work, communicate with the teacher, back and forth with students and also view your grades in all on convenient location. It was nice not having an instructor to deal with hands on, but also nice to still get the materials covered as they would have in a classroom setting. The workload was very much like a weekly class and very easy to follow along with expected assignments.

Mountain empire has gone above my expectation of a well accredited nursing program. I haven't had to take any crazy electives not associated with my major. It really makes me feel like I'm not wasting my time and really on a fast track for my degree.
