Tuition & Financial Aid:
MHCC financial aid office is horrible, they are hard to deal with and contact. The tuition is average but you probably won't get much financial help.

Online classes are nice because you don't have to go to campus, they are great for Winter term when all you want to do is stay home in bed! I've taken four online classes all of which have been pretty good, except for WR122, the teacher was hard to communicate with. The other classes were great and used a lost of discussion groups for teacher-student interaction and student-student interaction.

The classes for MY major are only one class offered per year but are flexible with other classes.

I think that the students at MHCC are very friendly and are always eager to help if you ask.

The school wifi is always on and off and makes you sign in every 30 minutes.

I have not taken online courses at Mt.Hood. I feel like the teachers wont be as helpful as an actual teacher being present in the classroom.

I'm a physical therapy assistant major. I am still working on getting my prerequisites out of the way. The classes have so far been good not challenging yet but I expect them to start getting to that point as soon as I am accepted to the program.

I have not yet graduated so I have no grade for the post-grad service. I am not sure how helpful the Career Center can be on helping people find jobs. So I have nothing to say towards this I hope by the time I graduate theres an answer to this.

Mt.Hood has great teachers in the classes I have taken so far. Some of these include writing 115 and 121 teachers they do an excellent job at explaining the subject of our essays and give the students alot of individual help. I have no complaints about this school whatsoever its great at its career courses and I really enjoy it.

There's a variety of classes offered on campus along with online courses. The professors I've dealt with have been great and registrations for the most part has been fairly painless

I work along with going to school and don't get to spend much time on campus outside of class time. There is always flyers up discussing events occurring on campus, I just havent' been able to attend

The reason I chose this school is because of the programs offered that aren't offered in other areas.

The SHS program is challenging yet rewarding, I'm glad to be a part of it.

There are many computers available for the students as well as WiFi and printing capabilities. Other students I know use these often and enjoy these resources. I prefer my own. I can listen to music or have a cigarette more easily when I use my own resources in the comfort of my own home and live close enough to the campus that I can easily travel back and forth if there is a resource that I need to take advantage of while doing my homework. Sometimes I need to use a program that I do not own and the school is easily able to provide me with all I need to ensure that my project is done in a professional and timely manner.

The students that I have met mostly seem serious about getting their degree. Most seem to know what they want to do and are making constant progress toward that goal. Many of the students are also working full or part-time jobs and still are making decent grades. It would seem to me that the majority of students are working-class and trying to better their lot in life through degree programs.

As a veteran, it is important to me to get to know other vets and have a good support system for problems dealing with the VA. I find that our veteran support goes above and beyond the call of duty and love the system that is in place for vets at this school. They even offered a program for returning vets where all of the classes were with other vets to ease us back into school. Seeing the benefit there, I jumped on board and it really helped make it possible for me to get to know some other people and be successful in my scholastic carrier.

While the college is very well put together in most respects, however the parking situation is most displeasing. Also as a smoker, I find it very distressing that I have no where on campus that I can smoke but rather must go off campus to do so. On the plus side, I do enjoy the abundance of motorcycle parking and often choose to ride my Harley instead of driving and the campus is very clean and well kept. The amenities are very good and fairly accessible.

A LOT OF STUDENTS ARE INTERACTING WITH EACHIOTHER TO GET HELP TO MAKE SURE THEY GRADUATE

The gym is nice, and the pool is awesome. The library is alright, but confusingly organized and the librarians don't enforce that it should be quiet in there. The worst thing about campus resources is parking. It's extremely difficult to find parking.

My school has some great teachers, a great student services department, and a beautiful campus. I feel like it's a great option for community college. My biggest complaint is that some of the teachers do not meet my standards. It's really inconsistent staffing, and the luck of the draw with whether or not I'll get a good teacher for a class.

Community college yet you need to pay for printing which wasn't the case before. Also school network malfunctions at times.

I love this campus because it has a open feeling. It feels outdoorsy and you get some great fresh air between classes

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I had a very smooth financial aid process. They processed everything in a timely fashion. Also have great financial advisors.
