I am sure that there is different programs that help one get a job in their field or an internship. Athough, it is difficult for me to get involved because it is not promoted enough. This makes it difficult for me becuase i do not understand were to start looking for internships and jobs in my field.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Some times the value of education i recieve for the amount of tuition paid is very poor. Some teachers dont always make your class their priority and you can definently tell. My experience with the financial aid office has been very pleasant. They have been very helpful and understanding.

They have available many different resources although I find it difficult to get information out of some of the staff. Some are unpleasant and make me feel dumb for asking certain questions.

The availability of networking is alright. There are some places on campus where you can not get wifi. It makes it difficult trying to walk around and find service. The only place the internet connection is strong is near the lrc and library.
College Sophomore 2013-11-02T17:51:28Z
I enjoy how we have an lrc to get some extra help if needed. The library is located on top making it easy to quickly alternate between the library and the learning center.

It is super difficult to talk to admin or a counselor. I feel they only designate a certain amount of time to a student but once the times up, they shoo you away and vo on with there day.

There isa wide variety of students at msjc although I feel that majority of students are there because of being forced by there parents. A lot of students use it has a hangout rather then a place to studyand learn.
College Sophomore 2013-11-02T17:42:07Z
We have an lrc that has multiple different tutor for an assortment of subjects although I find it difficult to get help from them. This is because they have only a few tutors available at certain times and there are a lot of students that need the help. When I try to get help from a tutor I am only available to ask a couple questions, which in the end doesnt help me as much as I need it.
College Sophomore 2013-11-02T17:42:06Z
They offer different clubs that one could join but I feel they are about money and it doesn't really healp with answering some of the questions I have. It makes me feel more over whelmed thinking about a how joining a club is going to help me because it will cause me to soend more time on the club then my classwork load.

For my online courses I found it diffucult to cigur out when assignments are due and it is a little unclear how One is to complete the course properly. The teachers where good at communicated with the students if there are any questions but they highly suggest that you ask your classmates first. This makes it hard because half od the class doesnt understand the dirrections either.
College Sophomore 2013-11-02T17:29:11Z
I enjoy some of the teachers methods of teaching but some would rather make it easy enought for you to pass pass classes. This makes it hard for me to further my education on certain subjects when I do not have a good foundation in the first place to build off of. Although the teachers are nice, I feel like it should be a little more challenging for futher understandings of harder material that builds on it.

Great campus with many opportunities. The staff both Administration and Professors do well to keep the student life run easier. There are always meetings on campus for several types of groups and/or clubs, even for academic and career advancement. MSJC has been a great experience for me.

I would like to major in psychology. My school doesn't offer any majors for psychology, but I'm taking the requirements needed so that when I transfer I can focus on my major. They also don't offer internships, but they offer information of places to visit that can help you find an internship in your desired major. The curriculum seems pretty straight forward and lenient.

Currently I'm enrolled in the Puente Program which is a challenging course, but very motivating and helpful with your education. It can be hectic at times because of the workload. The hardest thing I can describe is the class registration process it is very hard at times to register for classes that you need.

My school has great opportunities to help students excel when it comes to having people available to help students out whether it be a counselor or an instructor. There are academic programs you just need to ask and they are very helpful in enriching your college experience. Most of the social scene is very outgoing when it comes to the younger crowd of college students that are just in college so it creates a friendly environment.

I was new to online courses at MSJC. It was a bit confusing at first but the online orientation greatly helped. I love online classes because I'm able to do the work at my own pace and adjust it accordingly to my schedule. The only downfall would be that the system sometimes has glitches and crashes, but besides that, it's excellent.

So far, everything seems to be pretty good, except for when I had an issue with meeting with a counselor. I was sent from one person to another to another. No one could help me. I was told "that's not my department" even though, I was sent here.

Lately, on one of the most used sites, it has been going down once in a while. What makes it tough, is that we have to submit homework for one of my classes on it and it will go down in the middle of submission. The worst was recently when I was required to go to the computer lab and take a test. The system was erroring out on people in the middle of the test! Some people had to try again another day, and for others, they couldn't submit the test once they did complete it! They still have some kinks to work out.

The professors I've had are overall very helpful, patient, and have taught me so much. The registration is average, classes fill up quick however I did expect that. The study options are great, I have taken a couple online and on campus classes which worked fine for me. It's honestly a big help to me having the LRC available for tutoring and extra help outside of my classes.

Going from a private school to a community college like Mount San Jacinto has been a good change for me. I like everything about MSJC. The environment, the staff are professors are nice people. The professors have been the biggest help for me. They are really helpful and want you to be successful. They are willing to help you and they have motivated me to strive for better grades.

The student body is a variety of ethnicity. A variety of religion and full of cultural and traditional backgrounds. I have a met plenty of people from all different walks of life. I have had the opportunity to met people from across the globe people that I would've probably never met if I did not attend college.

I'm a water technology major and my school is one of the most well known schools for this specific career. I have really enjoyed the class I've been in. I have learned quite a lot. Its been a real eye opener from the start of my first class. I want to continue my education in hope of becoming more than just a water technician. I feel good about the career I've chosen to be able to give back to the community and the school I'm attending is a great start. The classes can be a little much at times with work but I have to remind myself of what's the end game and sacrifices have to be made.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition at my college is getting a bit expensive and the financial aid is getting cut making it hard on some students.
College Senior 2013-09-07T03:33:21Z
I have never had a problem with printing anything or the reliability of network access or usage. They even come to help you out with any questions you have.

The career center is very friendly and helpful and they are good with hiring students to work on campus.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
