College Prowler Take
Seegers Union is the main facility on campus. It is rare for a student to go an entire day without entering Seegers as this is where the eateries, mailboxes, and bookstore are located in addition to several offices and the Red Door. Muhlenberg has a nice mixture of both traditional and modern buildings that makes your walk down Academic Row interesting. Egner Memorial Chapel is considered one of the finest modern Gothic campus chapels in the country, and it is the location of some of the most beautiful events on campus. The Baker Center for the Arts and Trexler Pavilion, on the other hand, are striking in how unique and modern their architecture is. Trexler Library is on the same side of the street as these buildings and is constructed in a similar style. While some libraries have the reputation of being dark and claustrophobic, Muhlenberg’s library is actually quite bright and inviting. There are several study areas to the one side of the staircase as you walk down to the different levels; these areas have big comfy chairs and couches that are great for studying. In fact, they are so nice that it is not uncommon to spot a student napping in them. Overall, Muhlenberg is a beautiful campus. Although the campus is small, there is plenty of open space for students to enjoy the outdoors. The walkways and fields are always clean and well kept, and the landscaping is attractive. In recent years, Muhlenberg has expanded to meet student needs with new dorms such as Robertson and South, and new academic buildings such as the innovative Moyer Hall. While building new facilities, Muhlenberg does everything it can to keep the older buildings well maintained. The facilities are always very clean, and they are constantly being repainted and refurbished to keep everything looking as good as new.

I love the buildings on campus. We have a great mix of the older more historical buildings like Haas and East along with the modern architecture of the CA and Moyer. |

Muhlenberg is a beautiful college, and so are its facilities. I’m really excited to see the renovated gym because it is supposed to be amazing. The student center is small, but then so is Muhlenberg. The bookstore has everything you need, and I really like to study in the Red Door; although, it would be nice if they served food down there, as well. |

FactsWhat To Do on Campus
Students can exercise, take a swim, or lift weights in the Life Sports Center. The college constantly has musical and theatrical performances in the Center for the Arts that are cheap or even free. Theater and music are really popular at Muhlenberg, so a lot of people turn out for those types of events. You can typically see a play or musical, band, dance show, or singing performance just about every weekend. Also, there are student bands, comedians, and karaoke in the Red Door. The Red Door also has free pool, air hockey, fooseball, and arcade games that you can play at any time. Free movies are shown in the Red Door on the big screen about once a month and can be really popular depending on the movie. One thing college students learn to appreciate is the value of things that are free! Muhlenberg Activities Council does a really good job bringing in free entertainment for students, including everything from massages to stuff-a-plush. The events that draw the biggest crowds are the big name bands and comedians who come each year. Typically, concerts are held during the fall semester, and a comedian comes in the spring.
