College Prowler Take
Although you may hear some grumbling around campus during registration, or the housing lottery, the overwhelming majority of students are eager to praise their experience at Muhlenberg. The academics at Muhlenberg are top notch, but it is the combination of these academic opportunities with the inviting and supportive atmosphere that really makes students feel that they made the right choice in coming to the ‘Berg. While some students complain about the small size, other students attribute a lot of Muhlenberg’s appeal to its feeling of a close community. Although the party scene may not be as wild as it is at some colleges, most students will tell you that there is always something to do on the weekends. While no college experience can be completely flawless, most students claim that they can’t see themselves being happier anywhere else. The work can be challenging at times, but you know that you will step into your future feeling as prepared as possible. You will be encouraged to think independently and become actively engaged in whatever you are studying. This isn’t a place where you can sit back and coast through the next four years, but it’s difficult to even be tempted to do that when you are surrounded by so many people who are passionate about what they are doing. It’s also a huge source of comfort to know that there are always people behind you every step of the way. Students Speak Out

Overall, I really like it here....
Overall, I really like it here. The people I’ve met have been amazing, and I was able to make friends really fast. The campus is so small that you never feel like just one of the crowd. I really believe that everyone has a chance to shine here. Even though Muhlenberg may not be the biggest party school, I have had some of the most fun in my life just doing random things with friends. The college experience here is what you make of it. So far, it has been something I will always remember as being one of the best experiences of my life. |
