Muskegon Community College is very flexible in hours, help available, availability of professors and student resources. MCC is a great college that deserves numerous amounts of recognition.

I withdrew from three classes back in 1997. One shows as a withdrawal, another as an incomplete, and the third shows Fail. The fail pulled my gpa down and nearly cost me acceptance to a four year school. Even though I can prove I withdrew, they won't allow me to appeal because I didn't appeal within 90 days of dropping the classes. I only learned that they didn't process my withdrawal correctly until last year.

Overall, Muskegon Community College has been a good experience for me. I chose this college because it is close to my home and I could save a great amount of money by attending it, rather than a 4 year university right out of High School. My classes at Muskegon Community College have overall been worthwhile and I have most certainly learned a lot . Scheduling for classes seemed to be quite easy and I could set them to work out my busy schedule. Also since I am transferring to Ferris State University in the Fall, the credits I earned at MCC transferred over to Ferris very easily.

I chose this school because right out of college, it is the school I had chosen so all my information was already in the system. I love that they offer so many online courses. Being a mother of two and a wife who works close to full time, online is a necessity for me to be able to go.

I chose this school through dual enrollment so start getting my pre-requisites completed.
