Friendly and Liberal

People are laidback, friendly, and liberal. There is a difference from the undergrad and grad campuses. Undergrad are overtly liberal and dress like hippies. People from on the graduate campus dress a little more modestly but are as kind and liberal.

Safe

All three campuses are safe with active security guards. There are emails that are sent out if there is any suspicious behavior on campus or in the town.

Mindfulness Oriented

Naropa has a very special program and general emphasis on mindfulness cultivation.
