It's a Cooking Pot – With all colleges, you can expect the slakers and the "Why are you here" type, but overall I am completly satisfied with my peers. They can get down to the hard work and studying even with their jobs and families taking them away. When it comes to learning, they actually are really interested.

Make It Worth It – I wanted my Associate's Degree so I took the online course. Although, at times, it was difficult to juggle work, class, and then online class, the effort was definitely worth it. I will be having my Associate's by the time I leave this school.

The class materials are more older, i feel as should we should have updated material to work with.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Costs V/S Worth – When it comes to the education, the cost will equal out with the reward. Now when it comes to the housing and meal program (which is required on campus @ $10,000) It's not as good of a deal as we were sold on. The problem w/ housing costs is some dorms are more equipt w/ refrigerators and microwaves yet the ones w/o them cost just as much. As for the meal program, yes you can eat 10x/wk, but the food is often less than desirable especially at the end of the wk. The environment is beautiful to visit also, yet there are many not so friendly students there which make it difficult to embrace my surroundings and want to reach out to make new friends. Overall, I love what they teach and the way they do it, but there is a great need and room for improvement socially on campus.

WHY I CHOSE TO GO TO NADC – THIS HAS BEEN A BIG STEP FOR ME AND MY FAMILY I AM THE FIRST CHILD/GRANDCHILD IN MY FAMILY TO ATTEND COLLEGE. ITS HARD BEING AWAY FROM MY FAMILY IN ANOTHER STATE BUT I WOULD DO IT AGAIN IF I HAD TO THIS IS MY FIRST STEP AND BIGGEST STEP IN BECOMING MY OWN MAN. MY EDUCATION MATTERS BECAUSE THE BETTER I DO THE MORE OF A CHANCE I CAN GET AT HAVING A CAREER WITH A DIPLOMA OR DEGREE.

Peer Diversity – In my graduating class, there was some diversity but not much. The ethnicities have a little variety but there is always room for improvement.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The financial aid process was fairly simple. The Nashville Auto Diesel College helped me to complete my financial aid with as little hassels as possible.

Ced T. My classes start at 8 am and end at 12 or even 1 pm, but the rest of the day you can either study or go to work.
There are really no hassles except for the tuition pay and to get a good job.
My credits are very high and some even advance placement, so the counselor wouldnt mind sending them or transferring them at all.

There is not alot of things on the campus. Just drink machines and objects like that. We don't really need a Library for the field we are going into.

Inside Scoop – NADC is out-standing. They have so many different fields that I am interested in that I just want to take them all. This is a very high in school and I can not wait to start my classes. What I like about NADC is, it's not like every other College. You get more lab time wourking hands on the stuff you love then you do sitting in a class room being bored.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Hi, My name is Brandon Buchanan and I am attending NADC (Nashville Auto Deisel College). I am still finishing up my FAFSA and waiting to hear from the Financial Office. Everything is going good so far and I was trying to see if I could get any more Scholarships to help me out. NADC is a very nice school. I went for open house this past weekend and could not believe my eyes. I start in June 2011 and I will graduate in July 2012. I am thrilled to go to school there and I hope I learn a lot.

Once you have got through processing and financial aid, the teachers are mostly a big help. It's just that the school is stressed with so many students. So they are in a hurry to do everything and leave out some discussions about grants , and online scholarships. Although that part is bad the teachers are mostly knowledgable and master certified with overall good knowledge about the classes they teach.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Long and gruesome sometimes the financial aid advisors are overwhelmed with students, therefore not taking appropriate actions for students needing help, and money for school. They will not help you much, and most are rude. If you are looking for scholarships and are a veteran like myself. The best place to start is talking to the va rep. at Nadc she is very nice and will help you with getting your gi bill processed, and give u links for scholarships online

Powerpoint Presentations – Most of the class is conducted with powerpoint. I have to use a computer to get my masters in my field of study and I don't have one to use on my spare time. The computer lab is always busy and not very easy to get access to when i need it. I was told it would be easier to go to the library and use theirs.

It IS GOOD. The work the school provides is good. They set me up with a job right off the bat.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
