Everything that a student needs to be successful in college is offered on campus. But, if by chance it is not offered the people who work there help students find other resources.

National American University has a variety of classes that a student can take that will fulfill their degree requirements. If a class is full on ground there is always online classes that can be taken. There is also the consideration of waiting until the next semester to take a class that is already filled up.

Instructors are willing to work with students to successfully complete the course. I have always had a positive out come with online classes through National American University.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The cost of an education is priceless. Knowledge is power. The price is affordable once you have a job in your field. The price is worth the education you receive in exchange and the life essentials you carry with you.

The great thing about NAU is the diversity of the student body. Students bring a unique experience to the college. We share ideas when applicable, and we operate with integrity in the classroom. We do not just look at this as a class.

Personally, I feel online courses present you with the information needed to apply it to the actual world. Its up to the students to actually take in that information and implement it. The online curriculum has been well setup and the school does there best to make it as fun as possible.

We really don't have anything on our campuses. Most students are working adults or people with children. So no one really hangs out on campus. We have an online library that is wonderful and easy to use, computer labs on campus, and they do have some activities.
College Senior 2013-07-24T22:13:24Z
to me online classes are harder because you don't have a professor there in front you you showing you how to do something, answering your questions about the material right then and there, or showing you extra examples of things you don't understand. It does make it easier when you don't have a specific time you need to be in class, so if you don't have time to get online till two in the morning then that is ok.

The whole academic experience has been great. We have two campuses and I have had classes at both. The Professors interact with all students on a professional and personal level, we use first names, the atmosphere is very laid back which makes it easy to be there and learn. Class registration is easy as well. You can go online and register or you can meet with your adviser to register.

I am an accounting major and all the classes are pretty much what you would expect. The professors are great; they enjoy and are associated with the programs they teach. There are accounting tutors on campus to utilize when you need to.

The students that I have had a chance to interact with at school and online are great. They are there to advance their careers and their education but at the same time they are more than willing to help out a fellow classmate in need of extra help.

The main reason i choose this school was because i could transfer a lot of credits from my previous school.

So far i like the online classrooms. The only thing that gets me is having to talk a lot in the discussions.

The education I'm getting is worth the expense. But is still cheaper than a traditional university.

I don't use the computer lab at the campus as I am taking online classes.

I have enjoyed taking the online classes which have given me more flexibility for work. I do have to say that there are pros and cons with online classes though. One con is that the communication with some instructors is not always successful when there is a problem. Also there are system requirements that are not always affordable.

We have traditional and non-traditional students alike. It is nice to be able to work with people of all different backgrounds and thought processes, working towards the same goals.

I really like taking my on-line courses, I actually received a better grade then in my campus class. I really liked the fact that I could easily access my class and projects everyday. I was also able to communicate with the rest of the students that lived all across the United States on a daily basis if I wanted to. Able to ask for help and receive a quicker response then having to wait until I went to my next class. I had an A+ but I ran out of time on my final so it lowered my grade.

Haven't started yet, and don't know the campus yet.

I am very unhappy with the communication and follow up of this school, especially rearding my financial aid, grants, loans and the like. I am also unhappy with the cost for the education I am receiving. I plan to change schools ASAP.

When I transferred to NAU from my previous school I thought that having my transcripts sent and having my credits transferred would be a hassle. At other schools I had to call my previous schools and have the transcripts sent myself, but at NAU I gave them the list of schools I had attended before (a total of 5) and they ordered them for me. Fantastic!

I was really impressed with how friendly and helpful the staff was. They answered all of my questions very quickly either by telephone or email. They also were great at following up with me to see how my enrollment was going.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
