The facilities on campus are not that bad. The only library that I use is the Law library for my studies.

My school is mostly students who are of the working class and have families, who are getting an education to better themselves. We all are juggling between being students, parents, and workers. There are times that are tough trying to stay awake, but we all push through together. We would meet when we have a mid-terme or final to study and quiz each other, but other than we are there to learn so that we seek a different career to better ourselves.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I don't feel that the education I am paying for is worth the money. I would've rather went to a Law school, and pay more for the tuition in hopes of actually receiving a higher paying job. There are some financial aid personal, who shouldn't be working in that department, because they are students themselves. When I was working with this one financial aid advisor, he would call during working hours and not leave a message. I would call back and get upset, and finally I told him that he needs to start leaving voicemails, and I would get back to him.

After I graduated with my Associates, I am still having issues getting a new job. The Career Services doesn't seem to help with the working folks, and they always have the work shops during that time. I am highly disappointed in that school. The school doesn't really want to work with the students, but is always looking for new students because they are need of the money.

I feel that they are making us take classes that have nothing to do with our choice of careers. The generals a person is suppose to take should just be the math; english; science; and the rest should be classes just for their majors. Some of the instructors are good, but some of them, the students are teaching the instructors, and I will never understand why a person going into the paralegal degree should have to take a medical terminology class, when they should be offering a legal terminology class. I have had instructors who are more than happy to help out a stufent, whereas, other instructors will not.

Generals and Fluff Classes – I don't understand why we, as Paralegals, need to take on the humanities classes, such as art. We should only have to take the simple generals, and what our main major is. I would be done with my bacholers degree, if I only had to take the simple generals and my course studies.

Typical Student – Most of the students that I attend school with are single mothers. There are quite a few men as well. My experience in meeting people has been that a lot of the people who attend school here only work part-time, or they don't work at all. I think there are too many students that attend school here that do not take it very seriously, and might be kind of lazy, thinking that things should just be handed to them. Most of the students are of African-American ethnicity, followed by Asian.

I like how the school has so much diversty. Not just in race but also in age, gender, and life styles; i also see it in the staff as well. I like learning about other peoples life and comparing it to mine. They have struggles and deliemas just like i do. I feel that i'm not alone.

My Experience – Everything is going fine expect for my finacial aide. The prosess took too long and i wasent even elegible. They didnt even help me to apply for any loans. I even had to get a new finacial aide representive because my orignal Rep. quite. I wish they will do a better job of informing students with changes and the prosess it self.

Convenience for Education – The first thing I truly like is that on-line is so much more convenient than traditional classes. Easy, fun, relaxing, and personal. These words express my love for being an on-line student.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I have been assigned to a few different financial aid counselors. I have found it stressful because I hear a different story every time. I also know that other people are recieving more grants than me that I feel I could qualify from. That is why Im on this site.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
