My school offers a very helpful and accessible tutoring center. The center is open everyday and provides professors/students that could help in almost every subject. One of the great things about the center is students can bring in quiz questions and homework problems that are challenging. The center also has plenty of computers for help with essays and projects as well.

I have recently switched from pre-nursing to behavioral science. The program is wonderful and I was very lucky to work with the department head during the switch of majors. He has helped me pick a suitable schedule for next semester. The workload is challenging, but not impossible. The classes are what I had expected however, to my surprise the majority of required classes are not general electives, but classes that directly apply to my major.

The academics at my school are wonderful. The professors understand that the population at my school are students and employees, that we all have other obligations outside of school. Professors provide adequate time for assignments and quizzes which is very helpful. Class registration is also wonderful, advisers make sure everyone meets and plans out classes before registration opens so everyone can get into the classes we need.

My experience at my school has been wonderful! The professors and administration are very helpful whether it be regarding advising, tutoring or any questions in general. I am a first time student and was very nervous about beginning college especially working a full time job as well as being a full time student but to my surprise I have had a very easy transition due to the incredible staff.

even though the computers get slower as we move away from the library, it is still commendable, the effort and consideration they have put in place to provide us with to notch computers and comfortable facilities to study, do research or just surf thr net.

Some courses can be a bit underwhelming, and then there's the extreme opposite in other courses. I always find myself surprised with each semester, but I can't say I regret taking even the bad professors. I learn from each and every one of them. I recommend reading up on professors before enrolling just to make sure your classroom experience is enjoyable though.

Though this is my first college, I've taken the time to observe the campus, and the life on it. And I conclude that it's awesome! I've had good and bad professors, but most of the professors here are awesome, and kind. They're willing to help you as much as needed for the most part. The classes are usually very interesting, often providing me with valuable nuggets of information. There's enough computer labs to print and research as much as needed. The college ground layout is fairly easy to understand, with detailed maps to aid the poor confused soul. All in all, I would definitely recommend this school to others for their educational needs. It's a great starting ground, but also a treasure trove of knowledge if you rise above squanderers and the myopic sighted.

Their courses are organized well. There's also tutorials provided by Blackboard that show you how to maneuver the foreign terrain(if you happen to be new to the whole thing). Online courses are flexible and enjoyable. As long as you're willing to pitch your dime in, you'll be rewarded.

I'm not really too into the whole socializing thing, although friendships are nice every now and then. Most people in my school are often the same way, either working class people or lower middle class people. They often keep to themselves and struggle to make the grades needed to pursue their degree. There is a social scene that goes on in my school though-I'm just averse to it! But, to each his own.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The staff at the Financial Aid Office will literally bend over backwards to help you obtain all possible aid if you qualify. The Financial Aid process is very easy to understand, the staff are courteous and answer all questions. I've never had any problems with the office, and I don't think I will in the future.

The student body consisted mostly of students who had families and a job and might be looking for a career change. They were very hardworking and committed.

I applied to the Radiology program and it wasn't much flexible. You were required to be at clinical every week. Freshmen year it was two days a week and senior year three days a week. A lot of students who had kids had to adjust to this curriculum and rearrange their lives at home to keep up with the clinical hours.

I graduated recently from the Radiology program. I have to say I'm glad I chose this major, I love it. The program really prepared me for the real world. The professors were amazing, and were always available if needed.

Its different taking classes online because you more or less teach yourself and is good for those who are capable of doing that.

I was scared about taking an online course, but I've gotten used to it.My professor is very on top of the work and lets us know what is due the current week by email and on discussion boards.Taking an online class means having self discipline and can require more focus. But,I can work at my own pace and around my other courses.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The financial aid helped to cover the cost of all my classes and some of my books.I had no problem with the financial aid and cashier office. There has been some changes to the amount of aid that can be used in the bookstore, and this can be a problem to some students.Overall, the financial aid office has been very helpful and made singing up for classes a no hassle experience.

From what I've seen, most of the students are over eighteen years of age. Many are returning to finish their education, many have children, and almost everyone has a job. Some classes are full of people who like to socialize, but I do have classes in which people stick to themselves. We are ethnically and culturally diverse because we all have different styles, different mannerisms, and different likes and dislikes.

The ACE learning center is great. There are people there who are able to tutor individual students on a variety of topics. They often have great tips to remember information. Some departments (such as RT) have dedicated tutors who deal only with that department's students. Scheduling is easy.

If you are in this school for a general education, the classes are very flexible and are offered at several time slots. Being in a field such as Respiratory Therapy, or Nursing, the schedule is not flexible at all. If you can do classes and clinical during the daytime, this is a great school to attend.

The student body at my school is a range from young to old. Anyone that wants to gain more knowledge or get a degree is welcome. Mostly everyone is in the working class and trying to advance in their careers. Mostly everyone is hard working and focused on succeeding and take their schooling very seriously.
College Junior 2013-08-22T18:38:47Z
I already mentioned it but there is an ACE center at the school. It is a cetner specialized for students that need help with any problems they are having with any of their classes. There are teachers in each subject willing to aid studetns that need extra help with any subject.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
