Nazareth College is in Rochester New York. It is therefore in the temperate climate. It gets cold and snowy in the winter. Summers are relatively warm, sometimes rainy and sometimes not. Fall and Spring weather are very nice though. Both have temperature ranges from high sixties to high forties. So it's cool, but not cold or too hot.

Since most of our buildings are attached to underground tunnels, the weather doesn't have too much affect of the campus experiences. Plus, the campus is absolutely gorgeous and it looks beautiful even in the rain.

The campus is small, but it is beautiful when the sun is out regardless of the temperature. We have access to tunnels that allow underground traveling but the fresh air is worth the walk through rain and snow. Sometimes you forget that you are walking to class when it is so nice out.

The weather here in Rochester, NY is extremely unpredictable. It does not only vary from day to day but it varies from hour to hour. One minute the sun could be shining while two minutes later, it could be thunder storming. Luckily, at Nazareth College there is the underground tunnel system, thus if it is raining heavily or too cold to walk outside you do not need to for your own convenience. However, after a long cold snowy winter, once the weather warms up and the sun is shining, it is difficult to keep the student body inside. Any green space on campus on a sunny day is filled with students playing with frisbees, studying, or simply enjoying the weather, which is when the the students realize that the long winter was definitely worth it.
