Yes, you can bring a car, but you will have to pay for parking. If you take residence in the apartment facility, each apartment has one parking spot reserved for it. If your room mate decides to also bring a car, one of you will have to park somewhere else.

Overall ExperienceWhat's This?

Two things can be said about Neumont University: As a computer science school, it’s bound to have a stellar network that rarely goes down, and you'll probably find someone with whom to play World of Warcraft. After all, these students are designing games and software, so technology is very much a part of their lives. Plus, if anything were to go wrong with the network, there are tons of students around with the ability to fix the problem. These often self-proclaimed "nerds" make the University an especially conducive school for video gaming, helping each other with related homework, and generally just chilling out. However, occasionally, you will get the social shut-offs who are unreachable. Most of these students will be guys—only because the Neumont population is majorly made up of dudes—nearly 95 percent. Good news for the ladies searching for potential mates but bad news for the men-folk. Plus, another double-edged sword is the fact that it’s a teeny, tiny school with fewer than 300 students, so you are bound to know everyone on campus.

While the cost of the school is pricey, students find it worth the loans and grants, being that job placement is extremely high, with nearly all graduates finding work shortly after their final final exam. In fact, the last three quarters focus on real-world development. Plus, students find the education they receive to be especially beneficial, being that it’s hands-on, with professors who actually have industry experience. One of the only drawbacks is that your schedule can lack some flexibility, being so compressed that your classes are pretty much chosen for you. One thing that isn’t compressed is the University’s location in South Jordan, Utah. Despite being nestled in the Salt Lake Valley, South Jordan has a relatively flat openness to it, which brings peace to students amidst strenuous studying.
